"Very well," Glynda said. "I don't see why not. However, nothing unsavory is to be done onstage. Keep it appropriate, understand?"
"Yes, ma'am," said Ranger. "Thank you."
He then had an idea.
"Actually, to make sure I don't do anything bad, why don't you volunteer for the show?"
Glynda quirked an eyebrow. "Hmmm, I don't know."
"Come on," said Ranger. "It'll be fun. Just sit in the crowd, raise your hand, and I'll pick you."
Glynda thought a bit. "Well," she reasoned. "I suppose that would be the best way to keep an eye on you...okay, Mr. Hoviz, you've convinced me."
As Ranger left the office to prep for the show, he was on cloud nine. If he could get Glynda under, he'd have a teacher under his command, making it easier for him to do as he pleased with any other students he got.
