Trev's place.

"Shit Sorry baby, Ari is taking her sweet time and we're going to be late, r u there yet?"

I step out of my car parked a street down Trev's house as I read the most recent text from Vi, the faint sound of bass from speakers and a small amount of neon light pollution visible from what I assume to be Trev's house can be seen in the distance. I sigh as I lean on the side of my car and respond to her text "Yeah I just parked." I smile at some classmates that recognize me as they walk past me "Do you want me to wait outside? Or shall I sus the vibe?" Vi's response comes through quickly "You can head in! We'll probably be there in 15 mins. Can u tell us if the vibe is chill or whatevs?" I react to her message with a thumbs up and put my phone inside my pocket as I head down the street.

I try the front door and I'm not surprised to find it open, as I step in Trev happens to walk by lugging a slab of pre mixes. "Hey Erik!" He looks past me "Just you tonight?" An obvious looks of disappointment on his face. I shake my head in response "Vi and Ari are running late." He grins, "Sick as! You mind giving me a hand?" I nod and help him carry the 24 drinks through the lavish house "Your place?" I ask him as we pass other party goers populating the back half of the house, some eating pizza, drinking and having quiet chats within the solace of the interior of the house, Trev snorts "Fuck I wish dude, it's my uncles investment, he's off in Argentina for some business shit and he told me I could use it to 'impress women.'" He grins stupidly. "Does it work?" I peer past him at the back of the house, he grins "Yeah."

We walk through the sliding door connecting a living room to a fairly large backyard, a large pool sits behind a rustic verandah, tables scattered across the backyard. The verandah has been set up to have a beer pong table off to the right side of the sliding door and to the left another smaller round table with 6 chairs in a circle surrounding it. Down the small 4 steps are a few eskys set up with ice and bottles of differing alcohols, Trev and I set the slab down next to the eskys. I look over the edge of the pool and notice a few makeshift chairs and towels scattered around it. Behind the pool the backyard extends slightly more with a grassy area with a fire pit and some chairs, the fire of course remains off as the sun is still glaring up from above. I turn and take in the current crowd, the **** has already been flowing as many people are laughing and having a good time, the men are mostly shirtless, save for swimming trunks, those with muscles trying to flex and those without also trying to flex.

I grab a beer and lean against the small ledge of the verandah behind me and look over at the women, a much better sight. None of the women today are feeling shy it seems, all manner of two piece bikinis bless my eyes, differing colors and intricate stringy designs all of them but ultimately a feast to observe. Toned abs, thick thighs and cloth clad breasts and butts on display, some of the ladies try and stylize themselves a bit more by pairing the fits with some sheer shawls and shiny accessories. I grin as I send a text to Vi of the vibe of the rest of the women, she replies "Sweet! I was worried itd be lame! We r 5 mins away!" I also let her know that the ratio of men to women seems to be skew slightly in favor of the men but it's a fairly sizeable event, it seems there has been several plus ones, a quick rough count put the number in my head to pushing 40.
