His Sister, Kelly screamed for Jack as an alert had gone off.

As part of the loss of human rights rule, boys are no longer allowed to own phones. Since Jack kept the phone that he made the rule change in, the alert went off to tell Jack's owner of the case.

Kelly barged into the closet that Jack was hiding in as she was angry at him for breaking the rules.

Kelly ordered Jack to hand over the phone. That's when Jack realized he had messed up and wouldn't be able to return to his reality.

He didn't want to, but with the new rules that he set himself, he has no choice but to oblige to follow his sister's instruction.
