This story is a spinoff of another story called "changing the rules" by street0. I have been given permission from street0 to take from/ copy some of the chapters in the original story leading up to my own chapters. Any work that is not my own will have the original authors name referenced either at the top or bottom of the chapter. Any edits I make to their chapter will be contained in [] square brackets.

Street0 advised me to port over my chapters so he doesn't "gatekeep" me if he doesn't have time to review chapters. I finally decided to make the story my own when my chapters got messy and I wanted to re edit paths figuring starting my own again might help reorganise things. This is my first story so hopefully it works out ok. I have said to street0 that it is entirely up to him if he wishes me to keep my chapters in their story and I'm happy to continue to write there also if they ever get reviewed. But this story will serve as a direct story and backup/replacement if needed or if street wishes me to remove chapters.

if you are familiar with the story so far or if you want to skip some chapters each time I recommend keeping the chapter 8 'yes, but it wont stay that way for long' bookmarked as its where my original works start and where most of the story branches start.
