He does have a good idea that could keep All Might in the game!

"You about to redeem yourself, Izuku?" Setsuna teased him, before yelping as Ochaco lightly elbowed her.

"Don't tease Master so much~!" Ochaco giggled. "He's embarrassed enough about it!"

Indeed, Izuku was blushing pretty hard. He considered himself pretty damn smart, so to miss out on such a seemingly obvious idea was a blow to his pride. Still, he did indeed have a thought that could potentially forestall All Might's retirement. "Well... All Might compared One For All to a torch, one that could be passed on, leaving behind the equivalent of a campfire that slowly burned out in the former holder."

"...yeah?" Tsuyu asked, curious.

"...well, what if the torch could be handed back, and reapplied to the embers, reigniting the flame?" Izuku suggested.

"I'm... not sure I follow?" Tooru questioned, but Momo and Setsuna got it immediately.

"You mean... yes, that actually makes sense!" Momo realized. "If One For All can be passed from user to another... what's actually stopping someone from giving it back, even if only temporarily to replenish the embers, as you put it, then recieving it again?"

"It depends on whether a former holder of One For All can recieve it again," Izuku admitted. "As far as I know, that's never been tried... come to think of it, I didn't ask All Might much about the Quirk... I'll have to remedy that... but assuming it's doable..."

"Then we won't have to worry about him having to retire anytime soon!" Ochaco clapped. "See, you're still pretty darn clever, Master!"
