Convince Thora

Your scouts and lieutenants know what you want them to do. Granted, the raid probably won't work as well without you there to talk to the slaves. As long as your tribe don't rape anyone after victory it should go well enough. You give a few last minute instructions and then trust that your troops will do the right thing - or at least will follow your orders.

The next few days are hectic. You had expected several weeks in which you could build up what you need for the slaves, but now everything has to be done sooner. You get Thora to set up a small shrine to Freyala in a clearing. Later you can build a temple around this core, but for now it's important for her to have somewhere to pray (and be seen to be praying).

You have your farmers cut down trees and clear some ground to provide some lumber and space for the slaves. You know you won't be able to keep them in pens or wagons slavers use. You need to build something better so they don't run away, kill themselves or die of disease. At first you'll have to watch them carefully but the construction of lodgings is a good project for these slaves to start on.

Then there's Thora herself. You explain the plan to her and the two of you discuss it several times at mealtime or in bed. After a few days you know that she's on board with the idea. It may not be the best life these people could hope for but it's a damn sight better than spending the rest of their lives as slaves. Spending a year working for a goblin tribe isn't such a big deal as long as they're treated fairly.

You also surprise Thora and she you. Thora expected you to be a little less interested now that you've impregnated her. Of course goblins don't see why a woman shouldn't get fucked throughout her pregnancy, with goblin women being the strongest advocates of the idea. In turn she surprises you thanks to how frequently she desires you. It's not just every night but during the day or when you wake up.
