A serious conversation with Ari

"I guess he finally told you huh?"

Ari looks me up and down as I slide into the seat across from her. The busy cafe bustling around us, Ari eyes me with a cheeky smile as she chews on her lip.

"You cheated on him..." I lower my voice "With me! Without me even knowing about it!"

Was the time with Ari hot as hell? Yeah, of course it was. But I can't help but feel some guilt and anger about being tricked into betraying my best friend. The look on her face pisses me off even more, she doesn't seem to regret it at all or even care.

"Is it cheating if you didn't know about it?"

I feel my ears getting hot.

"What? Of course it is?! Ari he's my best friend. Are you for real? No offense to you but I'm going to side with him and not you."

She puts a hand to her chest in mock indignation "I'm hurt. I thought we had something special?" She licks her lips as she looks down towards my crotch.

"Are you being fucking for real?"

She laughs as she leans back in her chair and takes a sip from her tea. "Jeez Erik, relax! I'm not a bitch. Did you ever consider that maybe Sai and you have a similar fetish?" She holds the tea cup to her lips as she looks over the rim at me. "I wouldn't actually hurt Sai. Besides, you both know me at this point." She smirks. "He knows what kind of gal I am. And, he knows what he's getting into."

I stutter. What does she mean by similar fetish?

"That's right Erik." I look up and see that she's studying my face intently, a sharp smile plastered on her face. "Sai enjoys his women free. Maybe, a little different than you?"

"Explain."

She shakes her head slowly as she places her tea cup down. "Nope. Now are you going to relax? Or are you still defending your boys honor?"

I lean back and rest against the back of the chair as I take a bite of my croissant. "So... Sai knows you did something with me?" My brow furrows, I don't think Sai and I are THAT close.

She smirks and spits out the small sip of her tea she had taken. "No of course not. Sai wants reports but without details. He doesn't want to know who I'm." She pauses as she looks for the right words. "Spending time with."

I sigh. I guess its not cheating. But there's still a part of me that's conflicted since Sai is my best friend. It's different when its someone that's close to you. The question begins to gnaw at my mind if I would be okay with Sai fooling around with Vi.

Ari's voice cutting through my thoughts makes me look up. "So, now that that boring conversation is done. Shall we seal our understanding in the bathroom?" Ari's eyes light up as her eyes drift slowly down to my crotch for the second or third time in this conversation.

I shake my head begrudgingly as I push my seat back. "I don't think so. He's still my best friend and it feels weird now. Even if he is technically okay with it." I push my chair back and smile. "I'll think about it."

Ari rolls her eyes as she picks up her phone and dismisses with clear annoyance in her voice. "Fine, you're so boring, whatever." She scoffs.
