Greg moved to the center of the stage, motioning for Abbie and Nick to join him.

"Let's talk about the emotional journey of this kiss," he said, his hands moving expressively as he spoke. "This isn't just any kiss -- it's the culmination of fourteen scenes of teasing and missed opportunities, all building up to this moment."

Abbie flipped to the scene in her script, scanning the stage directions while Greg continued.

"The kiss begins tentatively," Greg explained, his voice softening. "There's this beautiful moment of hesitation -- they've wanted this for so long that they can hardly believe it's happening. When their lips finally meet, there's this ... this blissful relief that washes over both of them."

Nick nodded thoughtfully. "So we start gentle, almost questioning?"

"Exactly," Greg confirmed. "But then something shifts. The confirmation that the other person wants this too -- it releases something in both of them."

Abbie could feel herself blushing slightly but remained focused. This was work, after all -- professional and artistic.

"As the kiss continues," Greg continued, "the physical behavior intensifies. Your hands will become more involved—touching faces, shoulders, waists. The choreography of where those hands go is crucial because it shows how deeply these characters crave each other."

He walked a slow circle around them, considering angles. "The audience needs to feel that hunger, that release of tension. As your hands become more involved, the kiss itself grows deeper and more passionate."

Abbie glanced at Nick, who was listening intently. She appreciated his professionalism -- it made this potentially awkward situation much easier to navigate.

"And then," Greg continued, gesturing toward stage right where a simple bed had been set up as part of the apartment set, "the scene culminates with Isaac guiding Kim to the bed. Not aggressively, but with purpose --like he's finally allowing himself to follow the current that's been pulling at him since they met."

Greg walked over to the bed, patting it once. "The scene will end with Nick lowering you onto this bed, Abbie. The lights will fade just as you both settle there, leaving the audience to imagine what happens next."

Abbie nodded, feeling a flutter of nervousness in her stomach. She'd known the scene was intimate, but hearing it described so specifically made it real in a way that reading stage directions hadn't.

"Any questions before we start blocking this?" Greg asked, looking between them.

"I'm good," Nick said confidently.

"I think I understand," Abbie added. "We'll go step by step, right?"

"Absolutely," Greg assured her. "We'll break it down into individual movements and practice each separately before putting it all together. Let's start with your positions before the kiss."
