Eyes forced open, Samus found herself back in the bedroom. Lights still off, that didn't explain the presence of Alya by her bed. Was she concerned about something or was this something else entirely?

Hard to say in this particular case. Especially with everything else that was a factor here.

"Apologies, Sami- Samus. Did I wake you?" the AI inquired and Samus shook her head. "In that case, would you like to pray with me?"

The words rolled and Samus did a double take. She had to have heard her wrong... right? No, she had very much heard her right... for better or worse.
