Lilly fights being diapered

Lilly’s breath came in short, panicked gasps as she pressed herself against the headboard, her fingers gripping the sheets so tightly her knuckles turned white. “No,” she said, her voice trembling. “I’m not a toddler. I don’t need that!” She glared at the nappy the staff member held, her heart hammering against her ribs.

The woman’s patient smile didn’t waver. “I know this is difficult, sweetheart, but fighting won’t change anything. You need to be dressed properly for your new level.” She took a step closer, setting the clothes on the bed before reaching out gently.

Lilly reacted on instinct. She kicked out, her foot barely missing the woman’s arm as she scrambled off the bed. “Don’t touch me!” she yelped, darting toward the corner of the room.

Mia stood frozen, watching helplessly. She wanted to help, but what could she do? This was the system—they couldn’t change it.

The staff member sighed, her expression tinged with mild disappointment, as if Lilly’s reaction was expected. Without another word, she moved with practiced efficiency, stepping forward and grabbing Lilly’s wrist before she could bolt again.

“Let go!” Lilly twisted, yanking hard, but the woman was stronger. Before she could register what was happening, she was being guided—not gently—back toward the bed.

Then the real struggle began.

Lilly flailed, kicking wildly as the woman maneuvered her onto the mattress. She bucked her hips, trying to break free, but the staff member simply caught her ankles and pinned them down. “Lilly,” she said firmly, her calm patience replaced with quiet authority, “I don’t want to call for extra help, but I will if I have to.”

“No! No, no, no!” Lilly thrashed harder, twisting like a fish out of water, but her strength was no match for the firm, trained grip of the staff member. The nappy crinkled loudly as it was unfolded beside her, its thick, puffy padding an unavoidable reality.

Her heart pounded. Tears burned at the edges of her vision. But no matter how much she kicked, no matter how fiercely she fought, it wasn’t enough.

With a practiced motion, the woman lifted Lilly’s hips, slipping the thick nappy underneath her. Lilly screamed in frustration, her face going red as she tried to twist away, but it was useless. The moment the padding touched her skin, she sobbed outright, her body trembling from exertion.

The tapes sealed with a finality that made her stomach drop.

Lilly lay there, panting, her limbs aching from the struggle. The fight had left her drained, her body spent from the effort. She wanted to scream, to keep fighting, but what was the point?

The woman gave her a gentle pat on the knee. “There we go, all snug,” she said, as if Lilly hadn’t just fought like her life depended on it. She reached for the shortalls, shaking them out before pulling them up Lilly’s limp legs.

Mia swallowed hard as she watched her best friend reduced to nothing more than a squirming, exhausted little girl being dressed for the day.

Lilly sniffled, her face burning with shame. She had lost.
