"Erik! I didn't know you were coming to this! Why didn't you give me a heads up? Brad and I grew up together, you could've gotten in for free"

I turn and grin.

"Oh shit dude it totally slipped my mind, I forgot you frequent these kind of things"

I grin and quickly glance out towards the crowd, nervously trying to spot Vi.

"You come alone dude?"

I turn to look at Sai again, "Nah Vi and Ari came as well" I look back to the dancing and gyrating crowd again, hoping he would get the hint.

"Oh man Aris here? Dude you have to help me get with her, shes so hot and so totally my type"

"I thought you were already talking to her?"

Sai nods "I am but surely you can talk to Vi and ask her to help me out a bit." Sai hands me a drink and grins.

"Sure, I'll talk to her." I grab the drink from Sai and reluctantly spend a few minutes drinking with him. Vi must have been out there for over 15 minutes now, she hasn't come looking for me or anything, I mean I'm sure she's fine and is probably just with Ari.

"Speaking of dude." I cut Sai off, "I should probably go find them" I grab two drinks "I was supposed to get these for them a bit ago now" I grin.

Sai nods and waves towards the crowd "Oh shit yeah all good dude, go on, I'll find you guys later then, We can all have a shot or something. I quickly grab the drinks and make my way through the crowd. Fuck, where is she? Sai took up so much of my time.

I see her and my blood runs cold.
