The Meeting

So after getting the pendrive from his idiot client, John thought, now is the time to just wait for Mrs. Fabi and hand her the evidence to get Gabie disbarred. There was a gap of around 4 days and in the meantime, John talked to a lot of people who went up against Gabie and they had some bad experiences with this woman.

"Mrs. Gabie? She is a great lawyer and in my first case against her and her client, she seduced the judge in that case and lost my client around 3 million dollars."

"That women is only only smart but expert at manipulation. She convinced my client to play poker for the insurance money. The deal was that if my client won, he will get his settlement money plus Mrs. Gabie will pleasure him for 2 nights and if he lost, he will get nothing. Obvious to say we lost, it's that bitch after all."

"I have a 5-0 record so far against her. I don't think she has even lost a case. The insurance company that has hired her, pay her around $3 Million annually. Mr. John, that is not an amount you will ever see in our business, no offense off course."

And on and on and on. To be frank, she has fought 30 cases by this point and John and Gabie were in the same class. That is frankly not something John would have ever imagined if not for the people she was up against. But saying that, John's meeting with Mr. Fabi arrived and he was fully prepared for it.

They decided to meet in a cafe. The room was privately booked off course, it was one of those places which does not get any foot traffic anyways but still John wanted to make sure that he could deliver the news to Mrs. Fabi.

John arrived at the perfect time for their meeting and he saw a woman, sitting in a red dress with beautiful eyes, slender look and makeup which was not out of place. She was just like John remembered. She is a perfectionist, she is the definition of taking it too far. I guess she was having arrangements even after this meeting.

"Good Morning, Mrs. Fabi. How are you doing today?" John asked a simple question but she completely shut him down by saying, "Mr. John, you know that I am a woman who respects her time, let's leave the pleasantries out for a second and begin the main topic."

"Certainly Mrs. Fabi. So there is a lawyer named Mrs. Gabie and she is doing certain shady stuff that no lawyer should." as John was beginning to explain my situation, he noticed Mrs. Fabi's eyes, grew large at the mention of Gabie's name. he wonder why that is. However, he did not pay much mind to it and continued explaining what has happened and handed her the pen drive plus the lawyers who have testimonies against Gabie.

"I understand, Mr. John, rest assured, I will try to do what I can and if Mrs. Gabie was found guilty, we are for sure taking strict action against her." and this was finally music to John's ears. He could finally get that bitch disbarred.

That ended the meeting and Mrs. Fabi took all the evidence John collected against Gabie and they shook hands on it. Now it was just wait and watch. However, it was not too long after all.

The next morning John got a text from Mrs. Fabi, which wrote,

"Mr. John, we looked into the case against Mrs. Gabie but did not find sufficient evidence against her and thus we can't process this case any further. Thus no hearing will be conducted on this matter. "
