I open the package.

"I'll check it out." I say already making my way to the kitchen to retrieve the scissors before setting up in the living room to open the box as mom resumes her incessant cleaning.

Surprisingly the inside of the box is remarkably well padded and once I finally unwrap the inside I discover a very thin 8 inch tablet. For a second I thought it was an ipad, but turning it over the emblem is a gold apple with a halo above it, so maybe a knock off. It seems to have a charge as it starts to boot up, but I'm immediately greeted by a wall of text.

I buckle down and start reading the terms and services, over all it's pretty standard. Creator's of the app are not responsible for any mayhem, apocalypses, or bimbo apocalypses started by users of the app, okay...those are kinda weird... But I'm sure they're either Easter eggs or literally throwing everything at the wall.

With a raised eyebrow I hit "accept terms" and the screen goes black before gold letters reading "Reality Tablet v7.7.7". Scrolling through it looks remarkably like an apple device and clicking on the setting's I try to set up a password but get an error of "Administrator Privileges not earned" and oddly enough there's a section to "restore to previous versions" with the first available being version 6.6.6, but half of the screen is dominated with a warning of "Previous versions may have more feature but will have a greater risk of reality destroying effects and bugs".

Going back to the home screen it seems mostly like a new tablet, there's a web browser, media player, no app store, only one app that seems to be showing a small blue male figure in the silhouette of a rather voluptuous pink female figure.

I was rather surprised when it wasn't immediately some adult game, but got hit by another wall of text "change log". Scroll through it it all seems relatively normal, "fixed furry content", "added more furry species"....okay...there's A LOT of furry entries. Eventually I got pass that section and to a general bug issues with only being 2 "Disabled Contagious Changes, RIP Reality 235334e7" and "Greatly reduced arousal gain".

Once pass the text I'm greeted by a rather simple looking menu, on the right side is empty space and on left side a bar Depicting a globe reads "World Settings", A blue stick figure with "Self" next to it, and 0/5 People Paired with a large + next to that.

Clicking on the globe it instantly fills up the right side of the screen with text floating above it with an incredibly long list of "features" ranging from "predominant species:Homo Sapians"and all the way to "Mutations" and "Magics", most seem to be set to "default" or no and when I click on one of them it opens a segment for me to type into it and while I do test out a couple, I never hit enter causing it to default back.

Clicking on my country I get an even more detail map listing population statistics, wealth, religion, and so much that it is almost overwhelming.

I divert my attention back to the box, wondering who made this. The most rational explanation is this is some kind of "advanced" simulator or maybe spyware, especially as I tap on myself and find all of my personal information displayed from my name, sex, orientation, date of birth and age with a counting up seconds, and even job.

Comparatively the options for "self" is relatively bare at first glance, but it seems I can toggle between "simple" and "advanced" modes, with them either being mostly tag based and slider/number based.

The last thing I check out is the "Paired", immediately I get a warning that "Any paired being is aware of world changes/other changes seen while paired or when within 5 feet of the tablet." Hitting Okay I find Abigail (mom) and Mary (sister) being the only ones within range.

Tapping on my Mom's name I'm flooded with info ranging from her bra size, clothing style, attitude, and physical characteristics. Checking out Mom's status the biggest surprise is that it seems her confidence isn't all the way at zero and that she's actually bisexual. As for the TMI info instead of an unchecked "virgin" box it lists her last sexual encounter, being 5 years ago.

Clicking on Mary I learn to my surprise she's still a virgin, she always seemed to have been dating some football player or gym bro. As for the general info it all seems to match with her being listed as unemployed, I'm a bit surprised to learn her intelligence is listed a "slightly above average" and unsurprisingly her personality is listed as "Mean Girl-Princess".

Having familiarized myself, I jump straight in typing "what if I had a trillion dollars". I frown as I get an error message reading "In the current version creation and changing of wealth has been disabled, would you like to roll back version?"
