They get drunk

Once Kelly and Max were back in Kelly's hotel room, they immediately took advantage of the open bar, and Kelly's celebrity status, and before long, they were both drunk.

"I don't think I've ever been this wasted," Kelly tells him as they watch TV on the bed, her head resting on Max's chest.

"I can't say that I ever have either, Kelly," Max replies as they sit up on the bed and down a few more of the beers they have left, getting drunker as the night goes on.

And pretty soon, Kelly, despite still wearing her wedding ring, had seemed to lose all recollection of her marriage to...well, whoever it was...she couldn't really think too straight right now.

And that's when she found herself looking Max in the eyes and brushing his arm as they sat on the edge of the bed, almost as if she was waiting for Max to make a move on her.

Finally, Max's sexual feelings won out and he placed his hands on Kelly's face and brought her in for a kiss.
