Chapter 10 by Throne65

Who has Eric run into?

Cynthia, an old classmate

Business school was not something Eric wanted to remember. The classes were boring, the math was nonsensical, and the people were intolerable. The only person who made it enjoyable was Cynthia. She looked at everyone with a warm expression, soft brown eyes looking over her glasses. Eric enjoyed talking with her and remembered trying to impress her several times in class. She made the subject interesting and occasionally brought up her plans for building her own business. While the two talked often and enjoyed each other's company, their relationship never went beyond friendly classmates.

And now, here she was, standing before him in shock. She hadn't seemed to age a day. Soft brown eyes, 5'9, slender figure with C-cup breasts and heart-shaped butt remained the same. Her hand was over her mouth as she stared at his nude form. "E-Eric? Is that you?!"

"Cynthia!" Eric glanced down at himself before looking her in the eyes. The urge to cover himself had long since passed. "I, um, I didn't know you were back in town!"

She seemed at a loss for words. "I'm...on my way to an interview."

Eric noticed she was dressed in a business suit and her chocolate brown hair was done into a ponytail. He had been too distracted from recognizing her to pay attention to her clothes. "Oh, yeah! That explains the outfit."

"Yeah...but what about yours?"

Eric cringed as he realized he'd have to explain. "Oh...you didn't hear?"

"No. I just got back from an overseas trip. Dad wanted me to get hands-on learning from his investors."

He sighed in disappointment. "I got...uh...caught embezzling some money from work. The boss is making me do...this in punishment. Plus some other...expenses."

"Oh my God!" Cynthia finally looked up and met his eyes. "Why don't the cops do something?"

"I work for Mr. Anderson," Eric said. "I'm pretty sure any cop who speaks against that guy is in the unemployment line in the hour."

"Anderson?" Cynthia looked at her watch before shaking herself out of her shock. "Um, listen, Eric, I am SO sorry, but I need to get to my interview."

As she moved past him, she stopped next to her shoulder. "Look, can you give a day or two? I know this sucks, but I have an idea. Just trust me, okay?"

Eric wasn't sure what she meant, but Cynthia was the only person he knew he could trust in the business world. "Uh, sure. Do whatever you need."

"Great!" With that, Cynthia hurried towards her interview. Eric turned around and resumed his walk, ignoring the stares of the people around him.

How does Cynthia factor into this?
