Modern day crossover!

(Note: Everyone is 18 and older.)

(This is a world similar to our own, but with a major difference: fictional characters exist here. They won't have any superhuman abilities, or the same background, but will have the names, appearances, and personalities of their counterparts, with backgrounds in the context of living normal lives in an otherwise normal world. Well, normal until the lamp arrives. Got this idea from the very same story that inspired me to start writing here to begin with. Cookie for anyone who knows the one!)

As the lamp fell down to Earth, quite literally, it sensed very little magic. It seemed to be a world that leaned more towards technological advancement than anything else. In fact, the scientific consensus around here was that magic either didn't, or was at least very unlikely to exist. The only thing particularly special about it is that some of the people of worlds it had been in previously had doppelgangers here... reincarnations perhaps? Or just a major coincidence? Given how infinite the multiverse was, either or something else entirely were equally possible. Regardless, it would soon land, to await a potential host.
