Think About the Future and Learn about Sophie

After stamping every item that you need, you leave the store and start walking back to the RV with our two shopping carts, which you also stamped, just so you don't have to deal with the hassle of explaining what you’re doing with them later.

“So, hey, Sophie, How old are you exactly?” Sabrina asks as we walk back.

“29, although my birthday is just a few days away,” She says, “Why, how old are you?”

“21, but that's not important,” Sabrina pats Sophie’s shoulder. Their height difference is really astounding and it gets you thinking.

“Hey, could I change your relationship? Sabrina, I want you to be her older sister. You can think of her as your little sis,” You suggest.

Sabrina smiles, apparently very happy to do such a thing. Sophie, on the other hand, looks confused.

“Wait, what?” She asks, “She’s supposed to be my big sister?”

“You can think of it like a step sister for a while. Or a sister-in-law. I just think it's really sweet,” You explain.

Sabrina smiles, “It's not too crazy is it? He just brought up two examples of how people become siblings all the time.”

“B-but you’ll want me to like, kiss her and everything?” Sophie asks.

“Yeah, don't worry about the incestuous nature of it. That honestly just makes it hotter to me,” You say.

Ashley cuts in and asks Sophie, “So, do you have a boyfriend? Or roommates or anything?”

“I have friends in the area. And some guys that I hook up with sometimes, but not a boyfriend. And I live alone in a small apartment,” Sophie explains.

“Is there anything you need from your apartment? Other than clothes, I guess. Anything you can't replace?”

“Um, I have some stuff from my mom’s house, from after she passed away. And some imported books I guess.”

“Imported from where?” You ask.

“Uh, mostly Japan. I like to read the language a lot, since that’s what my degree was in. But honestly, most of the stuff I could find in any bookstore there. I don't have a ton of old or rare ones.”

“Well, we’ll swing by your place and you can pick up what you’d like,” You say, “If you're into Japan, do you like anime or manga then? We’re going to a convention in like 2 days that’ll have that kind of stuff.”

“Oh? Uh, I mean, I've seen the Ghibli movies, but I haven't seen a lot of other stuff,” Sophie answers.

On principle, you’d love to see all of your girls in cosplay at some point, but you may have to make them watch some anime before they’d start getting ideas for themselves.

“Well, it's not like we can get you a cosplay before then, anyway.” You sigh, continuing the thought in your head without thinking.

Sabrina perks up, “Actually, the only reason the deadline was two days from now, was because that's when Gigi’s gonna be there. I think technically it starts on Saturday, so tomorrow, if you don't want to do anything else.”

You think about that for a second. You suppose you can just go in the afternoon, so it's not that big of a deal if you wanna decide tomorrow.

“Well, let's worry about that later. Although, it might be fun and make some sense to get the lay of the land tomorrow,” You say, “For now, Mom, is there anything else that we should do, in terms of chores?”

Mom, who’s pushing along one of the carts full of food, hemms to herself as she thinks about it, “Well, we have entertainment and food. Eden’s been keeping up with the RV’s gas and water. I suppose the only thing we could want right now are winter clothes or maybe just clothes in general. And maybe some extra electronics to keep everyone from being bored.”

“Hmm… both great ideas. But let's have lunch before we try anything.” You say, really feeling the lack of breakfast.
