Chapter 1 by DrowningGod DrowningGod

Nico Robin, often referred to as Ms. All-Sunday, walked through the corridor of an empty building. It was one of numerous establishments in Rainbase owned by Crocodile, even though he never actually needed them.

Robin was grateful for this truth, since the dealings she had there were matters she preferred he remained unaware of.

The slender and statuesque, yet voluptuously shaped, woman glided down the hallway with an assured gait, driven by laced white boots that reached her knees.

Her sun-kissed figure was clad in a delightfully short purple skirt paired with a light blue belt and a similarly revealing purple top that laced up in the front, opened just enough to reveal an enticing glimpse of her cleavage for anyone brave enough to gaze, despite the daunting presence of her status and reputation.

After leaving her typical white cowgirl hat at the lobby of the building, her lustrous black hair flowed freely down to her shoulders.

After Robin discovered and stepped into the room she desired, she permitted herself a slight smile at the view ahead. The space was vacant, except for one examination table to which a young woman was secured.

The girl's violet eyes surveyed her surroundings attentively, her expression clearly intent on observing her environment while trying to avoid succumbing to panic.

Robin eased her instinct to maintain her silent assassin's stride with the next step, permitting her boot to scrape against the floor, the slight noise just sufficient to grab her guest’s attention.

The woman reacted at once, pivoting as fast as her restrained wrists and ankles permitted; the girl's face flooded with feelings as she realized who had taken her: astonishment, anxiety, terror, and a myriad of others.

Nevertheless, she bounced back swiftly and directed a penetrating gaze at Robin that appeared both incongruous and strangely appropriate on her gentle, youthful features.

"Ms. All-Sunday?" What does this signify? Robin simply smiled at the spectacle.

"Oh, I believe you are aware, Ms. Wednesday." You’ve been following me for days, together with Mr. 8, attempting to uncover information that isn’t your concern. That’s the reason I dispatched the Mr. 8 team on that task yesterday, so you would have to either surrender or attempt it by yourself. "You should have realized that spying on me by yourself was a bad idea, but I understood you were simply too stubborn to let that deter you, Princess Vivi."

Robin had to commend the girl; she nearly succeeded in concealing the surprise of her breach being discovered.

“I’m not sure I understand what you mean.”

"Oh, come on, Baroque Works was formed solely to eliminate the kingdom of Arabasta; do you really believe I wouldn't identify their cherished princess or the leader of their Royal Guard?" You’re fortunate that Crocodile has entrusted me with monitoring our agents; if not, he would have you completely at his mercy. At that moment, Vivi didn’t even attempt to conceal her response.

“Crocodile? The Commander of War? "Is he the one responsible for all of this?"

"Indeed." That's what you were curious about, right? "It would have been simply unkind to allow you to endure all this difficulty without reason, after all." Robin wasn't completely certain why she chose to directly reveal to Vivi the real identity of the Baroque Works leader, but she was genuinely pleased that she had.

The manner in which the Princess wriggled as her circumstances grew increasingly chaotic evoked a sense of playfulness she had never truly experienced before, if we're being honest.

“Why did you say that to me?” "Do you enjoy complicating things by informing me precisely what I must understand before you eliminate me?"

Robin smiled to herself; she had already made up her mind that she would permit Vivi to leave mostly unscathed, but that, naturally, posed the issue of the princess being quite likely to interfere with Crocodile's scheme, and consequently, her own.

Robin tucked the thought away in her mind for later consideration; she would find a solution to it soon.

"No, I’ll allow you to leave." "Ultimately." The younger woman squirmed more as a look of confusion crossed her face.

"Then, what is the reason for my presence here?" "What do you desire from me?" That caused Robin to pause and think for a bit, fully aware that she was uncertain about what she truly desired from Vivi.

It was the princess and her effort to interfere with Robin and Crocodile's scheme that inspired her to act, yet she had to confess she truly lacked any concrete plans. Oh well, Robin thought, she may as well find out what she can gain from this situation.
