Chapter 114 by sexyslave sexyslave

Move on?

A media nightmare.

Monday came, and Izuku, Ochaco and Momo blinked as they took in the sight before them. They had just gotten to U.A, to find a crowd of media reporters, demanding to be let in. "What's going on?" Ochaco asked.

"Isn't it obvious?" Momo sighed. "What else could draw all these vultures? Word finally got out that All Might was teaching here..."

"...right, ask a stupid question," Ochaco chuckled nervously in agreement. "Oh dear, it's going to be hard to get in now, isn't it?"

"...just follow my lead, girls," Izuku sighed, before walking towards the mass.

"When do we not, Izuku?" Momo teased, following him with Ochaco in tow.

"Young man, how have classes with All Might been as your teacher?" a group of reporters asked, all practically pouncing on the trio.

"Sorry, we're with General Studies," Izuku said smoothly. Between One For All, and the genie business, he was getting way too good at lying his ass off on the fly. For now at least, he considered it a good thing.

Predictably, the reporters immediately lost interest and looked for someone else to harass. "...nice one," Momo smiled at him.

"...is it bad that I thought of that excuse almost immediately?" Izuku asked, rubbing the back of his head.

"Nothing wrong with being good at lying, considering the secrets you keep," Momo shrugged, a mischievous smirk on her face. "So long as you don't do it to exploit others, or betray the trust of your friends, you're good in my book."

"Considering our unique relationship, you kind of have a bias," Izuku deadpanned, and she shrugged.

"Hey, you ordered me to be honest with you, and base my opinions on your conduct more on my own rationality than my loyalty," she replied.

"Fair enough," he nodded as they headed through the throng. At one point, they saw Iida trying his best to answer the reporter's questions in a rather long winded manner, before they lost interest and moved in from the bemused speedster.

"...wow, nice work Iida, you actually managed to get rid of them by boring them away! Creative!" Ochaco chimed, comically thinking Iida had actually done so on purpose.

"Oh, erm, yes!" Iida blushed, deciding to go with that. Was he really that boring to talk to?

At this point, once they had gotten through the gate, Aizawa came out to try to send the reporters away, but when they persisted, he simply headed back in, letting the barrier keep them out.

No one noticed a rather sinister figure hidden in the crowd.

Does this situation escalate?
