Leah decided to sit near the front where Mr. Howard was going to talk. It would earn her some brownie points toward tenure at least. Even if it did earn her some questionable looks from Jason, Daniel, and Coach Reed—all of whom eyed her as she chose to sit somewhere beside with them. Mr. Howard saw where Leah sat and threw her some smiles and a nod.
