A bit of socializing.

In the cafeteria, Izuku sat with Momo and Ochaco, all of them praising Lunch Rush's work. "I never imagined someone could make simple rice taste so good," Ochaco stated as she ate a few bites.

"No kidding, it's usually just bland filler in a meal," Momo agreed. "Lunch Rush really saves U.A a lot of money since he can do the job of a whole staff by himself."

"Excuse us, may we join your table?" Mina Ashido asked, flanked by Kirishima. Iida was also nearby, wanting to join the table.

"I don't have a problem with it, Ashido," Izuku said, also waving Iida to join.

"Oh, just call me Mina, I'm not one for formalities, and I think we get along great enough," Mina grinned. "Also, no hard feelings about yesterday, Iida?"

"I'm a little sore, but no, I assure you, I am not holding a grudge," Iida replied. "You won fair and square. If anything, showing me a weak point that could be exploited against me is quite helpful for my development. It's an issue I need to find a solution for for sure, so I should be thanking you."

"Heh, it's always good to show you're a good sport," Kirishima remarked. "It's manly to want to get better and use a loss as motivation!"

"Speaking of good sportsmanship, I'm surprised you didn't vote for yourself, Iida," Izuku remarked. "You had no votes for or against you. I thought you'd want the position."

"That might be so, but I recognize that ambition and suitability are two different things," Iida replied. "I actually voted for you because I believe you're the best suited for the role."

"Eh? Oh, thanks..." Izuku blushed, not used to getting so much praise from anyone other than his girlfriends, who had a bias. "Guess that leaves only one person who voted for me I don't know..."

"That would be me," Mina grinned. "You pretty much carried us to victory yesterday. You've got decent leadership skills."

"Yes, he does..." Ochaco giggled, giving Izuku a flirty wink, and he went absolutely red at her hinting about their relationship dynamic.

"You okay there?" Kirishima asked.

"I'm fine!" Izuku replied a little too quickly, making Momo and Ochaco laugh.

"... you're quite the lucky guy," Kirishima remarked, guessing at the private joke fairly accurately, able to tell that Izuku took the lead in the sex life, though obviously neither said it aloud.

"Trust me, I know..." Izuku replied with a weak chuckle.
