The next parts of the post described how to perform the ritual.

During the ritual it is import to keep the chant going continuously until the ritual is completed.

Correct pronunciation is imperative. A mistake could change the effect of the spell.

"You actually know how to read those symbols?"

"I can't do it of the top of my head, but it's not that hard to decipher. I just noted down the sound in a way that made sense to me. A lot of the rituals use them."

"And that really got you going huh?"

"Shut up."

Then there was an image of the drawings and magic symbols.

While you do not have to be an artist to create a working sigil, you should take your time to get it right. Chalk is practical because it is easy to remove, but take care not to damage the Sigil during the ritual. Beyond that the material does not matter.

The ritual only requires you to sit cross-legged in front front of the sigil. No movement or costume is needed.

"So the nudity was not for the ritual?" Maddie gave Esme her best questioning look.

"It seemed appropriate. Besides, you already know why I was doing it."

"Shameless."

"You are the one who robbed me of my modesty when you forgot to knock."

"I'm sure you were the pinnacle of innocence before I interrupted your sex ritual." Maddie laughed. "What about the candles?"

"Just setting the mood really."

You simply need to think of your target to direct the spell. A name is useful, but can go wrong if there are multiple people with that name. A strong mental image is most reliable. If other people are in the room, closing your eyes is practical to avoid thinking of them.

"I guess that's why you got the curse instead of me. When you stormed in you suddenly had my undivided attention right before the ritual ended."

"Yeah I really walked into that one."

"My knight in flashing panties."

"... Great."

The curse should take effect immediately, however it can take some time to activate according to the principles described earlier.

Finally, it should be noted that the curse is only confirmed to work on skirts and dresses. It is unknown if it would have an effect on similar clothing, such as kilts or togas. Of course if the target is wearing pants (or nothing) the curse will not become active.
