Powerless

In the proper timeline Supergirl went to battle against a rogue android known as the Red Tornado and was forced to utilize the full force of her heat vision to defeat the robotic menace. An act that all but drained the solar energy stored within her cells and rendered the Girl of Steel powerless for a time before returning to full power once more.

But what if Supergirl never regained her powers due to an outside force or simply a case of bad luck?

In this universe T.O. Morrow the creator of the Red Tornado was wise enough to have a contingency plan installed that allowed him to fake his death. The capture Kara Zor-El was just a bonus in his mind, one that he quickly took advantage of before disappearing underground where no one could find him.

Alone with a mad scientist and without her powers what will happen to Supergirl?
