Midnight gets the truth out of Mt. Lady

"Get off me! What do you want?" The embarrassed Yu asks. Midnight releases her.

"To finally settle things between us. Come to my office once school is done." She orders.

"Ugh, alright fine. It's about time you finally acknowledge I'm better than you. I'll be there." Mt. Lady says before storming off. Midnight smiles as she begins to prepare for their encounter.

Mt. Lady walks the empty school halls as she reaches Midnight's office. Opening the door she sees her rival sitting in a black leather chair and the room not quite how she was expecting.

"What did you get a raise or something?" She asks, looking around the more upscale room. Midnight chuckles.

"In a way, you wouldn't believe me. But that's not what we are here about. Ever since you met me you've had an attitude against me. I want to know, why?" Midnight asks with authority in her voice as if she were getting answers out of a student.

"Because I'm jealous of you. Eep!" Mt. Lady answers the question, quickly covering her mouth after. "What? Why did I say that?"

"Because like I said, it's time for us to settle this. No lies." Midnight responds, before Yu arrived Nemuri made a wish that Yu had to answer her questions honestly. "What about me are you jealous of?"

"Because you're the type of hero I want to be! You're popular, beloved and beautiful. I was worried that as long as you were around I would never get the spotlight I wanted. I was so worried I stopped seeing you as my hero but as my enemy." Yu admits not only to Nemuri but also herself, a hurt expression on her face as she admits her jealous shame. Midnight's stern face softens with empathy. Standing up from the chair she walks over to Mt. Lady and pulls her in for a hug. Mt. Lady is feeling incredibly emotional, she came in here expecting a fight, something she could use as drama on social media and instead she made a confession so honest it took even herself by surprise. And now her rival, one of the heroes that inspired Yu to be a hero was showing her empathy and hugging her. Tears begin to flow as she hugs Midnight back.

"There, there. I can understand those feelings but I never intended to make you feel small like that. When we were scheduled for that interview I was hoping we could be friends, but then you started insulting me on air and I thought you just hated me. I'm sorry I made you feel insignificant but it was never my intention. Can you forgive me?" Midnight responds calmly. She truly meant it when she said their rivalry would end. Since she had the wishing stone she was prepared to wish for this to end if needed but instead it's given her a new option through honesty.

"Yes. I...I'm sorry. I didn't... I didn't know what I was doing." Mt. Lady says as her tears begin to stop. Midnight let's the hug go but keeps her hands on Yu's shoulders.

"Apology accepted. Now I am curious. Is the reason you keep insulting my body because you're jealous or because you want a taste?" Nemuri purrs as one of her hands cups Yu's face, making her blush once more.

"Wh-what?! Don't you pay attention to the news? I-I like guys but... gah I don't know, something about how you look in your hero suit. Something about those bondage pinup photos you've taken... I don't know!" Mt. Lady exclaims, confused.

"Sexuality can be complicated. I've met many bisexuals who are only interested in one specific kind of man or woman. But if you're confused, would you like to experiment with me? I promise complete discretion, no one besides the two of us will ever know what happens here." Midnight purrs into her ear, making her shiver. Mt. Lady looks at Midnight, inches from her own face, close enough to smell her perfume and see her skin through the thin costume. Something new begins to stir in her heart. "...absolutely."
