A Tour

“I’m Angelica.” The woman said, introducing herself “Welcome to our humble little community! Kurtz wanted to greet you himself, but he’s busy at the moment.”

You greet her and followed her through the gate. It was a short hike from the gate to the commune houses, but Angelica didn’t seem to tire at all from it. She was in remarkable shape, as you could easily tell from her translucent dress. John was definitely looking, but you could hardly blame him.

Reaching the top of the ridge you could see the small town that had been built. A villa-style mansion had been built nearby at the top of the hill looking out onto the valley where the rest of the buildings were situated. They looked to be canvas yurts as the main buildings with a meeting and dining hall in the center of all of them and a bathhouse for getting clean. All of this Angelica told you as you wandered through the area. The town’s main export seemed to be various types of fermented food and drink. Wine, mead, and cider were made from the nearby apple orchard and vineyard, and pickled vegetables were sold from the harvest of the garden.

You also learned that Angelica was dressed rather conservatively compared to her fellow community members, who seemed to prefer going naked or wearing just sandals and wide brimmed hats. It was surprising, but not a bad surprise.

“And that sums up the place!” Angelica said, finishing the tour. “Any questions?”
