Laying about in bed.

With no Nuk to take care of the next morning Aor and I sleep in much later than she normally would. We are both exhausted from an extremely long day at the launch party and an equally as pleasurable night afterwards. We lie in each other’s arms just enjoying the other’s company and closeness when near midday Aor begins to stir.

“I’ll go and make us coffee. My ex-husband will be getting here soon to drop Nuk off.”

“Do you want to me to get up and get out of here before he does?” I offer.

Let him see you walking around naked for all I care.” Aor has continued talking as she gets up and from the bed and tied a silk dressing gown around herself before heading out into the kitchen.

With no immediate need to get up, I lean over the side of Aor’s bed and fumble around in my pants from last night retrieving my phone. I’m surprised and concerned when I see I have several missed calls from Piya. I lean back against the pillows and immediately give Piya a call back. She picks up before the phone makes a second ring.

“Baby?” I can hear the concern and worry in her voice from just a single word.

“I’m hear my love. What’s the matter? I’m sorry I missed so many of your calls,” I say anxiously.

“Oh, thank God. I’ve been calling you and Yui all morning.”

“Yui is at my house. Barry and Lucy took her home. She got very drunk at the launch party. I’m at Aor’s. We stayed the night together,” I say trying to be as calming as possible.

“The launch party of course. How did it go?”

“It went fantastic. Better than I could have hoped for really.”

“Aww, I’m so glad you and Aor could celebrated together afterwards. I’m sure you capped off her night with the perfect ending.”

“We did.” I try to never hide anything from Piya and would tell her every last thing I did with Aor last night if she wanted. “But what’s got you so anxious? You sound uneasy. I’ve never heard you like this.”

I sense Piya debates telling me anything. I know she would keep her worries to herself if she could and not let on to anyone. “You know that virus I was telling about? The covid one. It’s getting worse. People are starting to die all over the world. Italy is getting it really bad. There are cases here in Japan. The government is closing the border to all international travel.”

Piya had been trying to organise her company’s corporate jet to come to Australia and pick Yui and me up. She would be so disappointed. I knew how much she had been missing us and was looking forward to seeing each other again. I hadn’t been following the news too closely with the launch party taking up most of my focus. I hadn’t realised it was getting that bad. I would do my best to comfort Piya in the meantime though.

“It’s terrible but it won’t be forever. It’s two months until your due home now. I’m sure they will have opened up international travel by then and you can come home and I won’t let them steal you away from me again.”

“It’s not the travel I’m upset over.”

“Japan would be the best place to wait it out then. Everyone is so considerate over there and they all wear masks all the time anyway, not like the rest of the world,” I offer.

“It’s not that either. It’s my research!”

That I know nothing about. “What about it?”

“They want to shelve it all for now. Divert everyone onto working for a cure for this damn virus or a vaccine.”

“Oh baby! I’m so sorry.” I know Piya’s research is her whole purpose in life. This must truly be devastating for her.

“Can you go back to it afterwards? Is it replicable?”

“I was so close to a break through,” Piya almost sobs and my heart breaks into pieces.

“What was the breakthrough?”

“No, I don’t want to say until I am 100% certain. I’m going to lose all my… samples.”

I thought Piya had been going to say something else then but switched to the word samples at the last second.

“Baby, what do you need? Anything and I can give it to you.”

“Nothing. I just needed to hear from you or Yui is all.”

“Aor is here too now.”

Aor has just come back into the room holding our coffees and can see something is seriously wrong by the expression on my face.

“Oh, Aor honey. Put her on,” Piya says and I switch the phone onto speaker mode.

“Piya sweetie. What’s the matter?” Aor asks in her most soothing motherly voice.

“Oh, just silly work stuff,” Piya answers putting on a brave voice but we can both hear as she fights to mask her sobs. “Tell me about your launch. I’m so very proud of you, my girl. I wish I could have been there to support you more than anything.”

“It went incredible. So many people came and we generated so many leads and word of mouth. I just know it’s going to be successful and we’re sitting on a gold mine.”

“That’s fantastic! And my boyfriend took complete care of you afterwards?”

“He did. He was incredible.”

Aor begins to describe in explicit details everything I did to her last night starting from the many rounds of incredible oral all the way through to our grand finale where I pumped ever last drop of my cum inside her. She is just finishing the recap breathily when a knock sounds at the front door and Aor has to go.

“I’ve got to go sweetie. My ex is here to drop off Nuk.”

“Let him see Roo naked there with you,” Piya suggests.

Piya laughs at that and I take the phone back off speaker as Aor goes to collect her son.

“Feeling a bit better now?” I ask hoping Aor has lifted Piya’s spirits better than I could.

“Yes, but now I’m sad and horny over here!”

If Piya is able to joke about it now then she must be on her way to feeling better. I tell her I’ll get Yui to give her a call this afternoon. I should probably get ready and go and check on her and see that she is okay. She is probably nursing a decent sized hangover if she missed all of Piya’s calls this morning.

Out in the main living area Aor is reuniting with her son. Bouncing Nuk around on her hip and blowing raspberry kisses on his chubby little tummy and legs.

“Heading off?” Aor asks now that I’m dressed and just finishing off the last mouthful of coffee she made me.

“Yeah, I’m going to go and check on Yui. See what sort of state she’s in.”

“Piya going to be ok?” Aor asks?

“She’s resilient. I don’t know anyone better able to handle a challenge.”

Aor nods her head in agreement at my assessment.

“Say bye-bye,” Aor turns her focus onto Nuk and starts making him wave his pudgy little fist at me. “You’ve just said goodbye to your Daddy now Mummy has to say goodbye to her Daddy.” Aor’s baby voice doesn’t quite have the timber as last night.

We share a final long lingering kiss goodbye and then I head to the front door. I get out side and tap my pockets searching for my car keys. “Shit.” I left my car at the warehouse yesterday.

I summon an Uber to my location and am soon being chauffeured back to my apartment building. I want to check on Yui first instead of heading into the rum offices for my vehicle. If Yui drove her car to my place before the launch party perhaps, she can give me a ride to pick mine up when she’s feeling better.

I have to knock on Barry and Lucy’s door to get the spare key first. Lucy answers and is quick to tell me about Yui. “Poor girl was in a hell of a state when she got back last night. I stayed with her for few hours just to make sure she didn’t throw up in her sleep.”

“Thank you for looking after her Lucy. It was a big night for all of us last night.”

“Well, you’re here to take care of her now. I’ll turn my music up, shall I?” Lucy says with a wink as she lets me into my apartment.

I really have to keep the noises down coming from my bedroom.

Inside my room Yui is spread sideways across the bed lying face down. Her hair is draped over the side and her face. The ends suspended above a bucket that contained the frothy globes of Yui spit. She's lucky her hair is short enough or she would have caught the ends in the nasty container.

“Baby!” Yui groans when I come into the room. “Feed me pork belly and take care of me.”

It’s too good an opportunity to extract some revenue on the otherwise hyper energetic Yui. “Oh no darling,” I say menacingly. “We’re going jogging!”
