On an Airship

Everything is black, but I feel something pushing against my cheek. The sound of a soft machine humming and people speaking in the background begins to fade in. My cheek begins to feel cold, the disturbance causing my eyes too slowly open. I blink a couple of times, my vision still blurry. I build up enough strength to lift my head up against whatever I'm pressing it against. I glance too see what it was. It looks to be a window.

Then finally it hits me, all the memories of what happened, what I'm supposed to do, came flooding back into my mind. The tiredness leaves my body in an instance as the shock causes my breath to pick up and heart to beat faster.

'Okay, think. Where the heck am I? If this is RWBY...then this is probably an airship. This is kind of like the first episode, right?'

I look around and the passenger list seems to confirm my thinking. Just a couple of feet away I see a girl in a black dress and a red hood on her back. Clearly Ruby Rose and she seems to be talking to a women in a tan jacket with long golden blond hair. Yang Xaio Long.

Apart of me really wants to go over and talk to them but I still need to get my bearings first. Besides, I'm kind of an awkward guy so if I say anything now before I get situated it might make things harder down the line. Slow and steady, thank goodness that asshole screen didn't give me some kind of time limit.

With a sigh I lean back in my seat too look out the widow. I can still see the smudge my face made on the glass. I look down at the large grasslands that pass us by. I'm really here, the world of Remnant. Too fuck a bunch of women. All great adventures start out from being a little bit horny, I guess.

Just then, I feel like I'm being watched. I slowly turn around to see who could be staring at me and I see none other than a girl dressed in an all white dress. Her eyes narrowed at me, her expensive looking boot tapping against the metal floor of the airship. There was no question it was Weiss.

Oh right, the Tsun ability. It seems that just seeing me has Weiss in a fit. I think the only thing stopping her from coming over here right now to bully me was that it wouldn't be a good look to start making fun on someone on their first day in front of a ship full of students. Hopefully we can get over the bully phase of the ability quickly since we're gonna be a team together soon.

I quickly moved my gaze past her, making sure to avoid the deadly eyes of Weiss, and looked to the left.

There, I see someone I wasn't expected. A formal looking girl with dark skin. She wore a simple white button up shirt with a blue skirt and blue beret. It was Ciel another one of my soon to be teammates. She was looking straight ahead. Not even turning to look at me as I stared at her. She wasn't supposed to be here. I don't think she even showed up before Volume 2. It seems the warnings about the story changing based on my choices at the beginning were already coming true.

"Best not to talk" I think to myself can risk ruining everything.

"Do you know her?" I hear from my left. I turn to look who said it but it's just Ciel again. Did she ask if I knew her?

This time she turned her head a little too look at me. Her blue eyes looking right at me. "Weiss Schnee. Do you know her? I noticed how was she looking at you. Did you do something to her?"

The barrage of questions was really catching me off guard. But I had to respond. "N-No I don't know her. I don't really know why she is looking at me like that."

She seemed to think about my answer for a few seconds before seemly accepting it. "Very well" She said "Don't try to get close to her." With that said she returned to her robot like sitting position.

What was that? She can't just ask that and not explain anything. I was worried about talking to some girls, meanwhile Ciel was acting like an undercover cop trying to bust some college students with ****. Did she have zero social skills or was confident enough not to care? Either way I had some questions.

"Hey, who are you?" I ask her. I can tell she wants to ignore me but either due to the Confidence ability or not wanting to look rude to the other students she answered.

"Ciel Soleil." She quickly answered.

"Where are you from?" I asked

"Altas." She states, finally turning her body to look at me. It seems giving me the side eye wasn't enough anymore. "Don't ask me anymore questions. No offence but I'm not really looking for friends right now."

Ouch, that kind of hurt. Oh well. From what I remember from the show she was always the serious type. A bit standoffish. I guess it was fine to wait a bit longer before talking to any of the girls.

Suddenly, the Airship shook a bit. I stumbled forward slightly while everyone else seemed to be fine. I quickly looked out the widow and saw a concrete. It seems we've finally landed. Almost immediately everyone around me begins to stand as the exit door opened up.

It's finally time to enter Beacon Academy.
