Work at the store

It doesn't take long for you to realize that you have no way of paying for groceries for the week to come. You can't imagine how pissed Rachel would be if she came home to no dinner, for no other reason than you're too broke. You decide there has to be a way to make a quick buck in town.

You quickly recall seeing the help wanted sign at the grocery store. Seeing as you'll need to be going there anyway, it's worth a short inquiring.

You immediately recall the sign at the register from your first shopping trip. It's a bit different from what you were doing before, but it's worth a shot of it means staying on Rachel's good side. They may even offer an employee discount! Excited at the thought, you quickly head out.

It's a short walk before you finally arrive at the store. Sure enough the sign still sits at the register. You had been so assured on your walk the the store, but suddenly, now that you have to ask, you find yourself a bit nervous. Sure enough, you do finally manage to work up the courage to approach the cashier, albeit a bit timidly. The girl behind the counter is younger than you, but quite pretty. Her polo shirt has a small insignia with the company logo, and the collar buttons have been undone so as to show off a bit of cleavage. You finally croak out you inquiry into the open position.

She cocks her head cheerfully and chirps at you, "actually, yea, we are looking for a couple new team members!" Her voice is soft and warm, almost singsong-y. It'd be insufferable if she wasn't so cute. "I'm Alicia! I'm actually the shift manager, let me take you in the back and we can chat some more!"

Alicia waves over a colleague to take her spot at the register and leads you through a set of doors at the back of the store. Big read letters read out "STAFF ONLY". You pass through a series of small storage and stocking areas, then into a small kind of locker room. Finally, passing through one final doorway, you enter a tiny office. You spot a couple monitors with CCTV footage running, and spread across the messy desk are various catalogs and flyers.
