I’m sorry you feel snubbed, that was not my intent. One needs to be careful when going out with a stranger.

However, you putting the decision of where to go in my hands largely alleviates that concern. I see now that my demand for our date to be at a coffee shop was excessive.

I would be happy to dine with you at Cara’s Pub on Main St. at 5 pm on Wednesday evening.
