MJ's recovery

Mary Jane made a bee line for the shower trying to erase this night from her memory.

She disrobed quickly, tossing her panty, bra, and dress into a pile on the bathroom floor. Jumping into the hot shower, her mind replayed Nick Katzenberg 's hands over her, his mouth on hers, her hand on his.... body.

Mary Jane started to cry, letting the tears mix in with the water running down her body from the shower.

Without knowing how much time she spent in there; the next thing she heard was Peter's voice.

"Hey hun, how'd it all go with the producer guy? Are we going to be stars or what?"

"Hunh? What? Oh!...Oh yeah, well.... I don't know yet....ummmm... maybe Hun..." MJ said past the shower curtain.

"Well... I imagine it should be just a formality Hun. You are too good and beautiful for them not to use you."

MJ smiled at Pete's supportive words, "It is show business Pete... Anything could happen.... Let's not get too excited."

She continues to lie, trying to sound happy despite her horrific night.

Peter opened the curtain, hopping in naked to match his wife already in the shower.

"Right....Lets save that excitement for shower time."

As Peter reached out to touch his wet, naked wife Mary Jane yelped.

"Yipes!"

She immediately thought of Katzenberg touching her, fondling her body.

She turned to face Peter and covered up a bit, "Sorry... sorry Pete...I'm ummm....I'm just not feeling that well..." she continued as she quickly fled the shower, scooping up her dirty clothes, and scooting off to the bedroom.

Tossing everything into a pile in the corner, she put on her comfy pajamas and snuggled herself into bed, curling up and trying to feel safe. She wept quietly trying not to picture Katzenberg 's face, or his fingers inside of her.

Peter, despite having a spider-sense for trouble, had no clue as to his wife's emotional issues.
