Investigation and Invasion pt.1

Over the course of the next week I investigated, while Jade and Shiva remained on high alert. My smaller summons, the more stealthy ones worked at finding every scrap of info they could. I learned a lot pretty quick, first that whoever that was, WASN'T Carter. Seeing him replace the people around him with other creatures capable of copying appearances was a pretty clear indicator of just how much was wrong. Within that week the fake Carter made an announcement that he wanted to globally disarm all nuclear weapons, by the end of the next two weeks Superman was flying around helping to either convince or safely dispose of whatever nuke's the planet had.

"So this is REALLY bad... Whatever this creature is, wherever it's from... It's trying to weaken our defenses. I don't think we'll have to wait long for it to start calling on it's forces to come stake it's claim on the planet either..." In barely half a month already there was people my summons found being whisked away into black sites, numerous people went in only to come out different. None of my summons could get inside other than my dark elemetal's, what little they were able to find were dead bodies of the original people despite someone looking just like them walking back out of the building.

I made sure to publicly announce that in order to help people during such events as those with powers fighting, I'd started constructing Shelter's that should be a safe haven for people. That caused a nice surge of good P.R. honestly, though that wasn't the point. I also explained that I was in the process of trying to build shelters in each city that was being affected by such clashes, but that it would unfortunately take time. After the interview I returned back to home, continuing to work on weapons and armor while asking if there was a way the League could help get the word out that my company was looking to hire those with powers or abilities. Carefully of course. Shiva had gone to make contact back with the League and when she returned she explained that a few of their people that had remained hidden but near the president were no longer responding or sending information. I told her it might be best to assume their dead or being replaced, I didn't like the idea of leaving them to whatever fate they were meeting but without info on WHERE they could be there wasn't much I could do to be honest.

Seriously HOW do these so called Hero's not see ANYTHING strange happening?! The only one that HAS seemed to have learned that anything was WRONG is the BATMAN. Ultron agreed with me that it was quite disheartening to see that so many hero's that were capable of learning this info, just WEREN'T. I tried to play devil's advocate, tried to reason that some of them were still quite new to being hero's of course, but neither myself or Ultron could say that was anything but an excuse really. I began to make long term plans with Ultron from there, planning to try and join any group I could on either side, Hero or Villain in order to learn more about potential threats as well as to learn strengths and weakness's of as many as I could. Thanks to Ultron there wasn't a single computer truly out of reach, Ultron could search through everything connected to the internet and even some computers that weren't SUPPOSED to be hackable, which led to some interesting developments.

Learning just WHERE the Batcave was located for example. That was a major one. It basically confirmed that what I'd suspected, that Batman was someone with a LOT of money and free time on their hands. But what we'd found ON the Bat computer was information that helped considerably. For example he didn't trust ANYONE, not even himself! He had protocol's and traps all being planned out already, all for the purpose of trying to be prepared in case anyone that was a Hero turned Evil as he would put it. Ultron learned more about the Bat as well, what he was like, that he had a Butler, that he had MULTIPLE Robin's, that there was even a Batgirl as well! Then Ultron learned about WHY the Batman was doing this, how his parents were killed in front of him and so much more of what happened later on through Bruce's life.

"It's unsurprising that he would try to stop anything like this from happening to others again. Understandable even. But to so BLINDLY put faith in the justice system to keep such monsters and criminals locked up is just... Not simply NEGLIGENT but practically ENCOURAGING them to become even WORSE! All in the name of **** no less." Ultron explained, going on a little rant in the process. I couldn't blame him, it was similar to how I felt about the situation too. We both agreed that infiltrating as many groups or organizations as possible could help us in the long run with combating threats. Ultron even started designing something more... fitting for a Villain to wear while performing crimes, not too mention helping to finish up the Hero outfit I'd only just started trying to make. The mask was something I could put on at a moments notice so that made it easier for him thankfully.

Regardless I had a bad feeling that the invasions forces would be coming soon, it only got worse when Ultron informed me of news that no station or camera crew could've gotten hold of. That feeling came with the realization that the invasion was going to happen any day now... "Warning! Something has just...
