An awakening(read first paragraph)

Suddenly Vanessa feels a jolt through her body, and she quickly grabs the man's hand, pulling it out of her chest. He attempts to slap her, but she quickly grabs his other hand, and pushes him forward into the wall of books knocking him and the shelf over.

"Just what the hell do you think you're doing!" She yells at him.

"I, um, well, I-

Vanessa stamps on his chest, not letting him get a word out.

"Just because someone likes a story doesn't mean they want to act it out! Do you treat everyone like this? What is wrong with you? Vanessa demands. However she realizes something, she's starting to act similar and have similar powers to Ezra Scarlet. Jeez that costume must have done crazy wizardry. Still, she shakes off that feeling to confront the man. However, the door swings open and an employee runs in.

"WHAT'S GOING ON HERE!" The employee yells.

Not really thinking, Vanessa reaches her arm out and using telekinesis pulls the employee closer.

"Get better security" Vanessa says, throwing him onto the man who had assaulted her. "Man, I could go for a strawberry cake right about now"

After leaving the comic store she decides to go back to the costume store to return the costume, but as she walks there she sees a weird sight, what looks like herself walking around a corner.

Vanessa doesn't know if she wishes to follow it, as she's already dealt with enough weird stuff today.
