It's worth a shot.
Besides, he was feeling... lucky.
"Greetings, Mr. Jehnova. How has your day been thus far?" she asked. "Same as usual, I would guess?" He turned around to set his eyes on the impeccably dressed young woman behind him. "Hello there, Mrs. Kaguya. Yes, it has been pretty average so far," he said a little nervously, despite, or rather because, of what he was planning on doing. He wasn't entirely sure how to go about this, but first things first would be to try to get her away from any potential prying eyes.
When he thought that, he also thought that maybe this wasn't such a good idea. Maybe he shouldn't be mind controlling a student. Then again, she has a Master's degree (according to the rumors anyways), so maybe 'student' wasn't the right word. 'Scholar', maybe? It didn't really matter which word he used, it wouldn't change a thing.
"Say though, I did have something I thought you might be interested in," he said as he took the glasses from his pocket and put them on. "I got these just last night," he added, "and I can make them light up with my phone." He tried his best to hide his nervousness as he took out his phone, booted up the app (and by extension the glasses) causing the spectacles to glow with a green light, before settling down to a soft dark blue. Her eyes widened and back straightened in slight suprise, before she narrowed her eyes in scrutinous observation. She tilted her head, and looked him from head to toe, like she was taking his entire being into consideration.
He saw a the prompt appear on his screen, just as it had before, asking him to choose a target. This time, however, he had 2 options; himself, of course, and a second one; Kaguya Fortuna. It was too late to back down anyways, so he selected her name. The central gray model filled in with her visage alongside her stats, meanwhile the buttons themselves lit up with life and color. He had made the basic framework of a plan to make the ordeal go as smooth as possible, and due to the glasses themselves providing a distraction, he could follow through.
"Is this what they call a mid-life crisis?" Kaguya asked, unintentionally interrupting his plans. He looked up from his phone with a raised eyebrow and replied, "Did you say mid-life crisis?" to which she answered "I've studied it, but I've never seen the phenomena for myself, certainly not in real time." His momentary confusion was set aside, and he selected the 'Trigger' button, watching as the glasses began to form the more complex pattern of a gun's trigger. Kaguya was unbothered, however, as she spoke. "Say, would you like to hear about it? I find it quite fascinating," she said.
He noticed her eyes sparkling with a faint but unmistakeable glint of something he had never seen from her before; passion, the eyes of a child gushing over their favorite dinosaur, alongside a grin slowly creeping across her face. "It's incredible how people can change so quickly. The contrast of their age with their new mannerisms and fashion is wonderful!" Her slight grin now became a full smile and the faint glint a bright sparkle. "I've never seen you so exicted before," Jehnova said innocuously.
The glimmer in her eyes and whimsy is her innocent smile evaporated instantly, as though she snapped out of a daydream. His comment had made her self-conscious, and so a light blush set in and she took a quick step back. She cleared her throat before continuing with a noticable degree of care and thought in her words. "W-well I just got a little, enthusiastic, is all."
She shuffled around a little, eyes cast off to the side, clearly embarrassed by her light outburst of childlike wonder. She refocused on Jehnova, stating with some amount of urgency, "Well then, I have to go back to the student council. I shall be on my way now." to which he responded "Hang on, there's just one more thing I wanted to show you." Having read through the instructions over the course of the prior night he knew how to operate the app, and as per the instructions, he tapped the 'Trigger' button again.
He saw the change in her demeanor instantly, as her eyes unfocused completly and she slouched over. A timer for 60 seconds appeared above the model, encouraging him to be quick about it. He took a deep breath and spoke. "Whenever I, and only I, say the phrase 'I humbly request,' you will follow whatever order I give next, and you will not question it or see it as strange. Do you understand?" He figured that he didn't need to account for any cases involving any of her friends, seeing as how he wouldn't want anyone else to know about this in the first place. Besides, it was a simple and powerful first trigger, opening quite a few extra avenues for any future plans he might have.
"Now then."
