What's next?
They don't have an answer right away, but ask if you can stay here.
Chapter by Aurora
They both stand in Dialga's room, staring at you. They were genuinely caught off-guard by you actually being there. Even with the moments that have passed, they still are having some difficulty grasping that what they are experiencing is no dream. They hear you apologize for your mistake in leaving them by their lonesome for so long, and they both are shocked, this being the first time they'd hear an apology coming from their mother, of all Pokémon!
They both look at each other, then back to her, and back and forth for a time, and finally blinking, as Dialga is the first to speak up. "M-Mother... this is... all so sudden, and, well... w-we aren't saying that we don't forgive you! It's just going to take us t-time to adjust to this, and decide how to respond... If that isn't too much of an issue?" She asks nervously, shaking as she gets the words off of her tongue. You simply smile at her, and nod in understanding. She almost seemed worried that you would've been upset at her answer, but she sighs in relief as you respond.
"Yes my dear, I understand. I do not expect you to forgive me right away. Not after all this time. This is more than fine." You admit to them, and they both seem to calm down a bit. Dialga scratches her head, not sure where to take this next, until an idea hits her, and she speaks again. "Ah, but, Mother, if you'd like to, I'm sure Palkia and I would enjoy having y-you around! You're more than free to stay here at my home for as long as you like!" She blurts out.
You can tell that she had something in mind, and perhaps her desires to bond and spend time with her mother were beginning to show through. You simply continue to nod happily. "Then I will indeed stay here, my dear. Should you desire to speak to me at any moment, simply call my name. I will hear, and be there as soon as I am able." You reiterate from before, as you turn around in preparation to leave the room.
Before you get the chance however, both of your daughters catch you off-guard this time, as they both hug you tightly from behind. You smile, hoping that over time, you'd be able to earn their forgiveness. You allow them to hold you, as Palkia speaks up. "It's... good to have you here... Mom..." She says. You feel a warmth in your chest, as you turn your head and speak once more. "It's good to be here, my sweet daughters." You say, as they both let you go, before you walk out.
You close the door to Dialga's room on your way out, before standing there, staring down. You continue to tell yourself that, no matter what, you're going to be a much better mother than your old self ever was. This ends up reminding you, you had intended to go and see your third daughter today, but with the way things were going, it seemed that that would end up having to wait until you solved things here first...
You begin walking forward, unable to ignore that lovely feeling of your butt jiggling slightly with every step you take, and giving your daughters the alone time they desired. You imagine that room you were in before, the white marble all around, the comfortable bed... and as you think about it, that same door of light once again appears on the wall next to you. You hadn't even really put much thought into it, but you realize now, your thoughts by themselves were powerful enough to do this... the perks of being Arceus, you supposed~.
You step inside, the familiar room once again around you as the door behind you vanishes into thin air. You move through the room, towards that mirror wall, and once again see Arceus. Yourself. You can't help but look at yourself in a mix of awe, disapproval, and hope. You ignore this for now, and move towards your bed, feeling how unnaturally perfect it was...
A few minutes pass, with you sitting on the most comfortable bed of your life. Suddenly, you hear the voice of Dialga calling you. Wasting absolutely no time, you imagine yourself warping to her location, which you assume is in her room, before you indeed find yourself traveling in an instant, arriving before your daughter in seconds flat.
"Yes, my dear. You called?" You ask, with Dialga still a bit surprised that you actually showed up, but she quickly gathers herself. "Y-Yes Mother... We were wondering if you'd... like to join us... for breakfast?" They ask timidly. You chuckle, and nod. "I would love nothing more, my sweet Dialga." You respond happily. Seems things were going to be alright after all, it was just a matter of time...
You follow them both to Dialga's kitchen, where she proceeds to pull out something that looked to you like bacon and eggs. You got up, wanting to help her prepare, but as you did, she looked at you, and stepped in your way. "M-Mother! You need not bother yourself with helping me, I'm more than happy to do this for you!" She says stuttering here and there. You frown. You were going to do this right. "Yes, I've no doubt you can do this yourself. But as your mother, I request that you allow me to assist you. We are family, yes? Family helps each other, even if they may not necessarily need it." You counter her. She sighs, not able to come up with a good argument to your point, as she moves back aside.
The morning follows suit, with Dialga and yourself working together to create a filling family meal for all three of you. Every now and then, Palkia even gets up and joins in with some assistance! It takes a little over half an hour before you both are nearly done, only needing to wait for everything to cook properly.
As everything settled, you help set up the table, and get your own plate, as you sit down at the dining room table with your daughters. They both insist that you take the head chair, and refuse to relent, so you do as they ask for now. You all eat in near silence, until you finally decide that this awkward silence was just a little too much.
"So, my daughters, did you both have anything planned for today?" You ask. They both look at each other, before looking at you and shaking their heads. You smile. "Well then, perhaps we could spend today doing something all together?" You ask again. They both look at each other again, and look back to you, not quite able to come up with any ideas off the top of their heads. You sigh, and decide to give them some options. "Well, perhaps we could..."
Suggestions:
•Have fun in Dialga's backyard! Swimming, cooking out, and more!
•Head out into town and find something to do together!
•Give suggestions, but ask for their thoughts!
