Use an Illusion spell

From Mira's falling form emerged a beautiful angelic figure brandishing a long iron spear, its full wings losing feathers as they burned with holy fire. Normally such a blatant illusion wouldn't work with an experienced magic user, but Shari knew it wasn't unlikely that at least one of the clerics in the room was a holy mage, so it might trick the Duke for a few moments.

He began casting a transformation spell. Demonic wings spread from his back, and Shari knew the only way out would be through the glass roof. She didn't have a chance to put him out with a single spell, so instead put a linked lust spell on him. Hopefully it would be subtle enough for him to not notice, and it would help her track him later on.

A flare of magical spells briefly shone, but Duke Broek broke through the glass and showered glass shards on the Church of light members before any could pin him down. A few yelled in pain, and a couple wove spells to go after the fleeing wizard.

"Mira!" Shari screamed, and went to succor the fallen knight.
