Weirdly

To say Gotham was having a funny reaction to the incident at the restaurant where the condiment wizard let loose his barrage was a bit of an understatement. The number of reactions was many, and it sent the city into a bit of a conspiracy craze as no one was quite sure what to make of what had happened. Everyone knew what had happened: a crazy guy calling himself the Condiment Wizard attacked a restaurant that the local elite of the underworld like to dine at.

Though instead of your typical attack in Gotham such as a car bomb or a drive-by shooting instead they got balls of ketchup and mustard thrown around, which was a new one even for the madness that regularly went on at Gotham. So with nobody actually dead, just a lot of rich and dangerous people embarrassed as well as covered in stains, nobody was quite sure what to make of it.

Even the responses from the people involved caused people confusion as everyone figured the Condiment Wizard was a dead man, but several of the mob bosses wanted him unharmed, and from what their henchmen said, they didn't want the guy harmed at all; in fact, a few had even tortured their own for suggesting it. Which left a lot of people in Gotham confused if this was something bigger, especially as time went on and it eventually got out that the guy who did the job was Jeremy Sawyer, a survivor of the Joker.

So now people were wondering was the same ploy of the Joker a distraction of his well he did something bigger somewhere else in Gotham or was this one of his victims having a fit and attacking everyone in sight as they lost their minds after having been broken by the Joker, which did happen with the victims of super villains from time to time. The problem with either answer was that there were mob bosses that were seemingly on the guy side.

So that added an extra layer to the whole indecent that nobody was sure what to do with it. So both criminal and law enforcement, which even included the Bat family, were trying to figure out what exactly was the intention of the attack. They weren't finding anything because, as the reasoning was, it was just a broken man striking out, which was a good enough reason in Gotham but was the hardest to prove out of all the scenarios.

So you had members of the Bat family tracing down leads trying to find out if this incident was part of a larger conspiracy. You had the police having their best investigator sent out to find out if this was set up up to start a gang war. Well, the Mafia Don's tried to find out where Condiment Wizard went so they got to him. Well, those under his sway that were among their number interfered.

Meanwhile, the man who had started perhaps one of the biggest mass conspiracy epidemics in Gotham history was lazing in his cell, trying to figure out what his great spell would be. "Raining my condiments from the sky? No to Weathery, not Weather Wizard; that's another wizard. Hmm, turning people's blood into Ketchup and Mustard? It sounds like a zombie plague, which is necromancy but is magic, so maybe?." The Condiment wizard said to himself, voicing his different ideas for different spells and debating with himself on their merits before he moved on to the next one.

He was happy he was not only a true wizard discussing ideas for his magic, trying to expand his magical power as one would, but he was also adding his speech, which was what many would consider nothing more than mad ramblings to the mad ramblings of his neighbors; truly, he had become one with his community. That was always a good thing, as humans were never meant to be alone.

So he continued down his list of ideas for spells, discussing one after another, often forgetting them and repeating the same ones over and over again as the guards didn't let him have pen or paper to write anything down. So he had to memorize it, which was hard to do as he spoke his own idea while listing to the mad gibbering of his neighbors. Though he thought he was getting close to a spell he was making. His Mustard and Ketchup balls becoming huge serpents and dragons sounded magical enough for a big spell.

Though how he would pull something like that he had no idea. So that was how it went—the city engulfed in a mad dash to find out the truth of one man's pursuit of life by gaining the title of a mad wizard. While Condiment Wizard spent his days thinking about casting a great spell he would never do on his own. Well, his minions did his bidding, making sure their master's goal would come true as Amy corrupted hundreds of innocent women at her company.

So that she could then spread that corruption through out the hair dye users of Gotham, bringing thousands of new mustard bimbos into while Dr.Young worked on her part as she began to collect her samples from the inmates of Arkam and break the warden to her will. Soon the time for her master to cast his spell from Arkham would come, proving she was worthy of being his servant.
