Sanity and Madness

Ben folded the letter and put it into his pocket. Although the victims forgave him, he could not forgive himself. The sense of guilt pressed on his chest like a weight that grew heavier over time.

Ben decided to ask the wisest man he knew - Grandpa Max. He transformed into Jetray and flew to the Plumber base at Mt. Rushmore.

Max was quite surprised when he saw him: "What made you remember to visit me today?"

"Grandpa, I need some advice from you."

"Sure, but there is someone I want you to meet."

Max brought him into the base and introduced two girls to him: "Say hello to my two new lovers."

The girl with the number 16 greeted him: "Hello Ben. I'm Sissy, and that's Tanya. Max told us about you."

The girl with the number 10 followed: "After all, we were cloned from your genes."

Sissy: "But that doesn't mean we are equal. See the number on our shirt? I have the number 16 because Max has successfully impregnated me 16 times, while he only succeeded 10 times with her."

Tanya: "Don't listen to her. We're wearing this because Max only needs 10 shots to successfully impregnate me, while he needs 16 to do the same with her."

Sissy: "I'm better!"

Tanya: "I'm better!"

The girls tried to fight each other, while Max was trying to separate them: "Girls, remember that both of you are mothers now!"

Ben felt like his world was shattered. His grandfather had an incestual relationship with two of his clones, and neither of them felt there was anything wrong with that. He collapsed on his knees and tears ran down his cheeks.

Max quickly ran to his side: "Ben, what's wrong?"

"Everything... or maybe it's only me..."

Max: "Listen, Ben. I don't know what makes you suffer, but don't let it take you down.

If the world thinks you're a madman, what does it matter? The world is wrong. But, when you start to think of yourself as a madman..."

Ben sobbed: "But if everyone else except me is insane, what is the difference between sanity and madness?"

Max: "You are a hero, aren't you? If you feel it's the right thing, do it. I always trust your conscience."

Ben shook his head, and wiped his tears: "Thank you, Grandpa."

Then he turned his back to walk away.
