Ruby Red

She began to panic and clicked Ruby Red which seemed relatively harmless.

After she picked her penalty, the silhouette dominated the screen again and the hair began flashing. Rachel felt her scalp tingle as her hair began to extend down her back, her bangs began to hang further in front of her eyes, and she saw exactly what this penalty had in store for her. She reached up and looked at her now red hair, it had gone from a generic brown to a stunning shade of red. This time the change wasn’t as awful as the previous one, she was honestly happy with how tame of a change it was, but then she thought of something that didn’t immediately cross her mind. Rachel grabbed her tight sweat by the waistband and pulled it away from her stomach, which she had to squeeze out of the way to see what she was looking at. She giggled as she let go of her waistband, “The curtains certainly match the drapes.” She said to herself with a chuckle.

She picked up her phone with a decent sense of confidence now, if some of the punishments were to be this neutral then she may be okay if she doesn’t win every round. She started up the same game again, trying to lock in as best as she could. Rachel missed a couple of the fruit, but she tapped enough to get herself a win, gaining another twenty points for herself.

Rachel started a new game, she was only twenty points from undoing her Plumped Up penalty and she couldn’t wait to be rid of the excess weight. She scrolled until she found one that seemed rather fun. The game was pretty straightforward, all she had to do was slide a basket around the screen and catch falling fruit. She rolled her eyes at the fruit theme but prepared herself as the starting timer counted down.

She slid the basket around, catching the fruit effortlessly and she chuckled at how easy it was. Rachel didn’t miss a single fruit and cheered louder than she ever had before when she won with game without missing a single fruit. The twenty points were deposited into her account and the screen congratulated her, giving her an additional 10 points as a bonus for getting 100% on the game.

Rachel navigated to the store menu and started looking for the option that reverts changes, she scrolled through the options and saw two options, one said Mental, and the other said Physical. She tapped Physical and a long list of options showed up.

She scrolled past tab after tab of changes, they all detailed a different physical aspect, one said boobs, another said hips and one said ass. There were many more options, but she only cared about the giant bold letters that said REVERT CHANGES. She hit the button and a menu opened that said List of Changes in Effect, the only things on the list were Plumped Up and Ruby Red each of which had a glowing 20 next to it. She quickly pressed the button and confirmed the purchase, her 60 points were reduced to 40 as the effects started. Rachel felt the wind get sucked out of her lungs as her stomach cinched in, fat burning off in seconds. Her thighs lost the extra chunk and her boobs began to lose their extra heft, she frowned as they shrank, not realizing that she liked having bigger boobs.

All Rachel needed now was to get an extra 30 points to be rid of her red hair and her life would be back to normal, if she played the basket game again, she could 100% it and get those 30 points in one shot. She started up the game and was off to a great start, successfully catching almost all the fruit but then something weird happened. Her screen stopped responding to her touches, but the game kept playing. She slammed her phone on the couch desperately trying to get it to work again but nothing helped. All Rachel could do was watch as the game continued to run, and she eventually lost.

‘Game over’ flashed on the screen but this time there was a subtext beneath it saying, “Mod Life Mobile has detected a cheating attempt on the fruit matching game, cheating is met with a punishment of applying all three penalties.” Chills ran down her spine, how could they possibly know she wrote down the answers, that’s not fair! She tried to tap her screen again, but it remained unresponsive as the list of three penalties popped up.
