What's next?
Unusual guest

Draco could hardly believe his eyes as he spotted a cat-human perched on a tree branch above them.
Her body seemed to blend almost perfectly with the shadows, and her eyes gleamed with mischievous curiosity.
“I’m Yuki,” she announced with a playful grin, her voice carrying a purring undertone.
She stretched languidly, her tail swishing behind her, "nice to meet you."
Before Draco could even react, she seemed to vanish from the tree branch in a blur of movement,
reappearing right in front of the pouch containing their hard-earned fish.
It was as if she had melted into the shadows and reformed effortlessly, her agility and speed, unlike anything Draco had ever seen.
“Nice catch,” she teased, her whiskers twitching with amusement as she reached out with delicate fingers.
“But it looks like it’s about to become mine.”
Her gaze flicked between Draco and Valentia, her ears perking up with interest as she gauged their reaction, her posture relaxed but ready to spring away at a moment’s notice.
Draco stepped forward, trying to mask his surprise with a confident smile. “The fish is ours” he said, his voice firm . “We worked hard for it.”
Yuki’s grin widened, showing a hint of sharp teeth. “Is that so?”
She tilted her head, faking a deep thought before her eyes sparkled with challenge. “Then I guess I’ll have to steal it fair and square.”
Draco didn’t hesitate.
In the next instant, he breathed his fiery breath , creating a spiraling inferno that surged toward Yuki.
The fire roared through the air, aimed with deadly precision at the cat-human.
For a split second, Yuki’s eyes widened in surprise, and the playful smile wiped off her face.
But then she twisted gracefully, leaping backward with an agility that defied belief.
The flames passed mere inches from her as she flipped and landed lightly on a higher branch, her tail flicking in irritation.
The intense heat singed the leaves around her, but she remained unharmed, the pouch hanging in her arms. “Feisty, aren’t we?” she called down, her voice light.
“Not bad, but you’ll have to do better than that to catch me.”
Draco hastily tied his loincloth back in place and glanced at Valentia, who was also beginning to put her clothes on, her eyes wide with surprise.
“Wait here,” he instructed firmly. “There might be more thieves around. I’ll handle this one.”
Without another word, he launched himself in the direction Yuki had fled, his powerful legs carrying him swiftly through the forest.
The trees blurred around him as he sprinted, his eyes locked on the agile figure.
Draco took a deep breath, his senses heightened as he scanned the area for any sign of Yuki. The forest was alive with sounds—the rustling leaves,
the distant calls of birds, and the gentle flow of the nearby river—but all he could focus on was trying to find the fleeting shadow of the thief.
He moved faster, trying to find any signs of her. He didn’t want the effort he had put into catching the fish to mean nothing.
The air was thick with the scent of damp earth and pine, but underneath it, he detected the faint sound of Wood creaking.
It felt like a warm pulse in the air, guiding him through the thicket.
Draco’s heart raced as he navigated the underbrush, his eyes darting from tree to tree.
He climbed over fallen logs and ducked under low-hanging branches.
The vibrant greens of the forest blurred together, making it difficult to track her, but he was determined.
“Where are you?” he muttered under his breath, a mix of frustration and intrigue coursing through him.
He thought about how quick and agile she had been, the way she danced through the branches as if gravity had no hold on her.
Suddenly, he caught a glimpse of movement above—a flicker of fur and a flash of black as she darted from one tree to another.
Draco’s instincts kicked in; he jumped, using his enhanced strength to propel himself upward. He caught a branch, swung himself up, and landed gracefully on a sturdy limb.
From this vantage point, he had a better view of the canopy, searching for her elusive figure.
Yuki glanced back over her shoulder and smirked, her eyes gleaming with mischief. “Persistent, aren’t you?” she called, her voice teasing as she bounded effortlessly through the canopy.
Despite her speed, Draco was gaining on her, his enhanced strength allowing him to close the distance.
He gritted his teeth and pushed off the branch with all his might, breaking it in the process and launching himself into the air.
For a moment, he felt the thrill of flight, his fingers stretching toward her as she twisted mid-air.
He could almost feel her legs as he reached out, but with a deft twist, she evaded him, leaving him to grasp at empty air.
Draco landed heavily on a lower branch, barely managing to catch his balance. He looked up just in time to see Yuki stick her tongue out at him, her tail swishing playfully.
“Nice try!” she taunted before taking off again, her laughter echoing through the forest.
Determined not to lose her this time, he focused, channeling his energy as he darted through the underbrush.
The forest was dense, each tree an obstacle, but he knew he had to adapt. She was fast and agile, her still laughter ringing like a taunt through the air as she leaped effortlessly from branch to branch.
He kept his movements low, avoiding any unnecessary noise, knowing that each leap she took would give him a fleeting moment to react.
When she soared into the air, he gathered his magic, forming small fireballs in his palms, ready to disrupt her flight.
As she landed on a branch, he aimed and released a fireball, aiming for the spot just before her landing.
But she was unpredictable. With a fluid motion, she twisted midair, evading his flames and effortlessly adjusting her trajectory to a branch he hadn’t even seen.
She seemed to dance through the trees as if the forest itself was a part of her.
This was more than a chase; it was a game, and she played it with a grace he couldn’t match.
He decided to change his approach, realizing that brute **** wouldn’t work against someone so skilled in their element.
Instead of a directhit, he took a step back and tried to be more tactical.
He focused on anticipating her movements, aiming the fireballs at the branches where he thought she would land
But as each fireball exploded against the bark, she seemed to dance around them effortlessly, her laughter echoing like a melody through the trees.
Frustration bubbled beneath his skin.
Every time he thought he had her figured out, she twisted and turned, evading his traps with a grace that made her look almost playful.
It was as if she could read his mind, always one step ahead.
She landed gracefully on the forest floor, a smirk dancing on her lips as she declared, “You’re getting annoying.”
Instinct kicked in, his chest flared up and he unleashed a torrent of flames, deciding that now was the best option for it.
The flames surged at Yuki and he hoped that this would put an end to this.
However, she simply smiled as she saw the flames coming at her.
She did a light jump over the flames, which led to them hitting the ground.
Dust, dirt, and plants were all swirling from the ground, creating a large cloud from the mix of these elements.
As the dust enveloped him, he lost all sight and scent of her.
He desperately tried to hear any movements, see anything in this dustcloud, or pick up any scent besides the mix of dirt and plants in his Nose.
When the dust finally began to settle, he blinked, attempting to regain his bearings.
He scanned the trees, searching for any sign of her presence, but she was gone.
It was as if she had vanished into thin air, leaving him in a silent forest that now felt eerily empty.
Taking a deep breath, he tried to calm himself. This wasn’t over; he just needed to regroup and think.
He focused on the sounds of the forest—the gentle rustle of leaves, the distant call of birds, and the faint breeze that brushed through the trees.
But despite his efforts, he couldn’t find a trace of her.
It was as if she had melded into the very fabric of the forest, leaving no sign of her presence. .
He sighed as he began to walk back to Valentia, the weight of defeat heavy on his shoulders.
He looked up with a defiant glint in his eyes, the fading light of the sun igniting a spark of determination within him.
“I will catch you,” he swore softly to the wind, his voice steady and resolute. “And when I do, you’ll pay for stealing my food.”
