Next morning

Next morning Eric open his eyes when sunrays fell on his face. The tent was opened and Lily wasn't here. By some reason the boy felt tired though he had good sleep and Eric had a feeling that he forgot something important. Then as he tried to put on his pants he found out they were very tight around his hips by some reason.

"Oh, you finally awake!" - suddenly Lily came from behind a tent.

"Good morning Lily, do you slept well?" - Eric was a bit surprised when he heard his voice, it was higher than it used to. - "By some reason I feel tired..."

"Yes, I slept like a log. Maybe you just isn't used to sleep in wilderness?"

"Maybe... well, I think I'll get going after breakfast."

"Oh, okay... well you always can find me here, so don't hesitate to visit me!"

"Sure, if I'll have free time..."

"Wait! I think I can help you a little in your jorney. I have a friend in town. She was a witc... a wizard, but now she set up a store somewhere in city you're heading to..."

"So?"

"Well, if you mention her that you're from me, I think she'll let you use a room in her house, even if she demand something in return it surely will be cheaper than staying at inn."

"Oh, that sounds cool, thanks for advice!"

"You're welcome... So, her shop name is... um, 'Miranda's Stick' or 'Miranda's Staff' eh, sorry couldn't remember it right... though it must be only magic store in town, so just ask somebody as you get there!"

Several hours later Eric finally reached his destination, he quickly passed the gates, where guards mistook him for a girl to his displeasure. Then Eric sold his wooden sword in toy store and after registration in local adveturer's guild he bought a simple long dagger, he wanted to buy a real sword, but he didn't had enough money, though the dagger was still better than toy sword. And after all these expenses he could afford only single night in local inn, so he began searching the store Lily suggested him.

Soon, after asking for directions Eric found the shop he was looking for. 'Miranda's Wand' was located a bit away from main street in a two-storied house, the curtains behind the showcases were drawn but the sign on the door says that shop is open.
