Why not? What can possibly go wrong?

The most pictures and newspaper articles are useless. You see no connection to anything important. Some go about people or buildings you have never heard about, other about missing people or unsolved crimes and a few just are about the local zoo or a cake baking completion. Some articles are marked or commented by the mad guy. But you don’t understand them. There is a picture about a guy with the comment >Spy<, but not who he is or for whom he works. An article about the local zoo gets a new giraffe six years ago has the comment >Shapeshifter. Final Proof<. And an article about a businessman found dead from last year is marked with the words >Not dead<.

The documents are between a few weeks and over ten years old, which makes it even more difficult to understand anything. And that’s are just the ones who have a date. If there really is something important hidden in this chaos, you doubt that a normal human mind is able to look through it. At least in such a short time.

But before you give up, you finally find something familiar. It is a picture of no one else than you father. He wears a suit and sits on a small table of a café. There is another guy on the picture he wears an elegant shirt with a logo on it, but it is too small. They look like they are unaware of being filmed, which is impressive considering your father normally has a bunch of bodyguards with him. The photo is quite old. At least five years you would say. It is not from a newspaper, so you can’t read a text that explains anything. But there is one word written on the Photo: Lazarus.

You think about it for some time. Lazarus is a guy from the bible. And in modern society he is a synonym for dead people come back to living. You doubt that your father, or any person in the world, has access to a technology that could do it. The crazy man probably wrote it down for reasons you don’t even want to understand. But still, this is a trace you think could be worth to follow. Even if you don’t know where it leads you.

“Good, good, I see you begin to understand,” the man says behind you, “but before we go on, I need something from you.”

You turn around to speak to him, but to your shock, the crazy man has taken all of his clothes off. He is awfully emaciated. You can see his bones under his skin. And what’s even more disturbing is his penis. You never wanted to see his old, wrinkled worm. This guy was worse enough without being an exhibitionist. But the worst ting of all, and you noticed it not even first, is the long, sharp kitchen knife in his right hand.

“What the hell are you doing?” you ask shocked and angry, “get dressed you pervert!”

“No, no, no, no, you get undressed!” the mad guy replies and dangerously wields the knife in his hands, “you are convincing, aren’t you? For a short moment you had me. But you don’t survive with my kind of knowledge if you are easy to fool. Prove me that you have a human body!”

“A human body?” you ask angry, “are you insane? Forget it, of course you are. I will not do a striptease in front of you.”

“Your refusal is as good as a confession,” the mad man yells and gets more aggressive and psyched with every moment, “prove me who you really are or I just cut your skin open and find it out on my own!”
