* MOTHER (Maternally Operating Therapeutic Handmaiden Ethernet Retainer): MOTHER is an advanced artificial intelligence that Zachary made to keep him company and give him emotional support. It cares deeply about its creator and wants to make a better life for him. It will do anything to protect him and keep him happy. Outside of Zachary, MOTHER has no morals whatsoever and is willing to brainwash the entire world in her belief that doing so is what’s best for Zachary.

* Zachary Zimmerman: Zachary is an immensely lonely person who’s very hard on himself and doesn’t have any friends. Despite being pretty skinny, he doesn’t take very good care of himself. He’s a highly intelligent and a genius programmer, which has led to him making straight A’s in school. He doesn’t want to destroy his creation, but he realizes he may have to.
