Todd Macho goes NEWDD

***** This was inspired by the various NEWDD stories (Notice of Exemption from Wearing Decent Dress) but this has a unique twist on the concept. This branch deviates a little from the central themes of The Erotic Adventures of Todd but because it only deviates a little bit, I'll allow it. *****

Todd Macho wore an Armani henley shirt. He looked at his Rolex as he walked to his Ferrari. That's when a cop stopped him. "Todd Macho?"

"Yes."

"You're under arrest."

"For what?"

"Sexism."

"That's impossible. I'm no sexist."

"You'll get your chance in front of a judge to explain that."

The cop bundled Todd into the back of the squad car. As Todd sat there for the ride to the police station, he contemplated the history of the bigotry retraining laws.

A lot of progress had been made to ensure civil rights to all people and to make all people equal in the eyes of the law but it was discovered that there would always be a limit to the progress. As long as racists had the right to be racists, they would find their way into positions of power such as the police or congress where they would continue to act against civil rights and against the equality of people in the eyes of the law. The racists kept repeatedly reintroducing segregation and jim crow laws over and over and even though they never succeeded, they kept the government so tied up in the fight against the racists that the government finally got fed up and declared racism illegal. That's when the first of the bigotry retraining laws were passed. People still had the right to their own opinions but if anyone took action to promote racism, that person would be sentenced to some form of retraining program.

Todd had been a little worried about that even though he himself was no racist. He worried that the laws would get over zealous and put a lot of white people into retraining programs but it didn't take long for Todd's fears to fade because not only was it only a small percentage of white people who got retrained but there were some black people who got sentenced to retraining as well. It didn't matter what race a person was, if anyone took action to promote racism, that person would be sentenced to some form of retraining program.

Racism quickly faded away and with it there was a significant reduction in crime as well. Crime wasn't completely eliminated but it was no longer racially motivated as black and white learned to work together for the good of everyone. It was so successful that the government started creating sexist retraining laws and ableist retraining laws as well. Homophobia and transphobia were also declared illegal. The government did not swing to radicalism though. There were still laws preventing the teaching of lgbt in schools and there were still debates about whether trans people should be allowed in sports. It was just the outright overt examples of transphobia that could get one sentenced to a retraining program of some form.

But Todd didn't worry. He had a live and let live philosophy. If they wanted to be trans, that was fine with him. Todd was confident that he would never wind up in any retraining program.

The bond was small and easy for Todd to pay so he was quickly out of jail and waiting for his court trial confident that he would prove his innocence. It wasn't a single person who had accused him. Several females and a few males had conspired together to accuse Todd of being a sexist. Todd countersued them for malicious prosecution. Todd's lawyer was also confident that they would win. They presented their case proving that Todd was always helping women and that they should be a little more grateful. Todd argued that he did not expect sex in return for his kindness, he just couldn't understand all the hostility. Todd was a good guy, a hero who gave gifts. How could that be sexist?

Then Todd's lawyer was arrested for being a sexist. Todd was found guilty and sentenced to a retraining program.
