South, Towards the Town

Right now, all Karlach cared about was getting this damn tadpole out of her head. She was unlikely to find a healer up here in the mountains. If she wanted help, she would need to seek out civilization. Thus, she set out for the cluster of buildings to the south. It did not take long to reach, the road clear and devoid of danger.

However, it seemed that her assumption of "civilization" may have been a bit premature. It became clear as she approached that the entire town was filled with goblins! They were everywhere, even having scouts on the roofs! This had not been exactly what Karlach had been hoping for. She had half a mind to turn around and try a different direction.

However, as savage as they may behave sometimes, goblins were still sentient creatures. They had healers and clerics among them, even if their interpretation of the practice was much different. Perhaps she could find the help she needed here? Besides, if worst came to worst, she could always knock a few goblin heads together and get out of any trouble she found herself in!

She kept her head down as she got even closer. It was not hard to avoid detection. There seemed to be a lot of activity in the town that was pulling the goblin's attention away from lookout duty. Yelling and shouting from over by the windmill. A commotion by the gate. Sounds from within a nearby barn.

However, there was only one in particular that drew Karlach's interest...
