You told Sarah about issue with your mum

You sighed, rubbing the back of your neck. You didn’t want to dump your worries on her, but Sarah was persistent and knew you too well to be brushed off easily. “It’s just… my mom,” you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper.

Sarah raised an eyebrow. “Your mom? What happened?”

You hesitated for a moment before explaining. “She was at the show, in the audience. She didn’t say anything during the event, but after I went to find her, she was… upset. She noticed, you know, the panties showing through my shorts. She wasn’t happy about it.”

Sarah’s expression softened, and she placed a comforting hand on your shoulder. “I’m sorry, Alex. That must’ve been hard.”

You shrugged, trying to keep your emotions in check. “Yeah, I guess. I just didn’t expect her to be here, and now I’m dreading whatever ‘talk’ we’re going to have at home later. She made it pretty clear she wasn’t pleased.”

Sarah frowned slightly, then offered you a warm smile. “Look, you did amazing today. Your mom might not get it right now, but that doesn’t take away from what you accomplished here.

Her words gave you a bit of comfort, and for the first time since the show, you felt like maybe everything would be okay. “Thanks, Sarah,” you said, your voice soft but grateful.

“Anytime,” she replied, squeezing your shoulder gently before letting go. “Just remember, if you need to talk or even if you just need a distraction, I’m here.”

You smiled weakly. “I appreciate it. I really do.”

Sarah nodded before turning to rejoin the others.
