Next shift

Brooke was dreading her next shift. She had her padding on and her uniform. She was really hoping that maybe she could go another shift without needing to strip her clothes off.

Brooke was determined to do this, but as she entered the restaurant and headed to the back, Brooke was surprised as she saw all her colleagues gathered and her shift leader, Danielle standing there. Brooke noticed that the whole restaurant was filled but no one was really eating. They all seemed to be waiting for something.

“Hello, everyone,” Danielle said. “Brooke’s finally here.”

Danielle was holding a mic and her voice carried throughout the restaurant. Brooke’s eyes widened. “Danielle, what is going on?”

“I let everyone in town know that we had a new member of the Superstar Waitress program,” Danielle said. “And they’re very excited to see your debut.”

Brooke’s eyes widened, her jaw dropped. She looked to see all the patrons outside grinning eagerly. “No way…” Brooke said. “Danielle… you can’t be serious…”

Danielle said. “It’s still your choice, but if you refuse to do this then you can walk back out the restaurant. Because you will be fired effective immediately.”

Brooke squirmed. She needed this job… but was this really worth losing her dignity over? Stripping naked for everyone to see?

Brooke gulped.
