A conversation with Jackie

I guess I didn't as much time with Alex as I thought I would. Not that that's horrible, I guess next time me and her can have some one on one time.

Instead Dee and I, now had a different issue. I don't know what we are. I can't just date my sister, however she clearly harbors romantic feelings for me. Hell I might even have feelings for her myself now.

The problem is, could we even go back to how things were before. Or if we were to continue in secret, how do we stop mom and Lucy from finding out. It's an impossible situation.

I awoke on the couch, Dee cuddling me. We both woke up surprised. After all it felt like a dream. I just had a foursome for gods sake. Before I even had a threeway.

"Good morning Eddie." I feel a tustle on my hair, looking up I see Jackie dressed for her work. She was in a smart business outfit. And I was curious as to what she does.

"Please don't call me, Eddie." I say to her. Dee also getting up and walking to the bathroom not saying a word.

"Too late, I'm gonna make it stick every time I see you." Jackie grabs a coffee thermos and bag off the table. "I'm gonna bet I'm gonna be seeing you pretty often."

"Who knows? Me and you don't have much of a reason to hang out." I sit up, "it's wierd to see you with all the tattoos covered up."

"I have to, professional me is very different from me personally." She smirks, "and trust me, the professional is much more bitchy than the personal me. So hope you never meet her."

"I'll try," I shrug, "what do you do anyways? I know what Alex does and I obviously know Dee's business."

She sighs, "that's kinda a loaded question. I'm a lawyer, but I'm a junior associate where I work. Luckily one of our partners taken me kinda under there wing. So I'm learning first hand, though I do feel like a glorified secretary."

"That's funny, my mom's a lawyer." I laugh and scratch my head.

Jackie smirks, "Dee never mentioned that before, you'd think after years of friendship I'd learn about her family. Unfortunately you're the only one she'd talk about."

I blush, "what does she say about me?"

"Well in all honesty she'd say only good things, probably why Alex wanted to go out with you," she looks me up and down, "no offense, what we did last night was fun and all and you're an attractive kid but you're too young for me."

"No I get that," I say awkwardly, "did you guys know about Dee's crush on me."

Jackie thinks for a second, "yes and know. She definitely never said it outwardly, you being her brother and all. But she talked about you like a crush, I just never put the pieces together."

"I have a third question," it was my time to figure this out, "do you like my sister?"

Jackie blushes, sits down next to me, and whispers, "is it that obvious?"

"Yeah, I saw you blushing all night when it came to her, you're not jealous of me are you?" I whisper back to her.

"Just a little bit, sorry." Jackie blushes.

"Its okay, I'm really not offended." I reassure her, "I think its nice, that somebody really likes her. And while you seem like a bitch, I can tell you actually care for her. You should confess."

"I would but it seems like she already is into someone else" she winks at me, "I just want what's best for Dee."

"Maybe that she gotten her feelings out of the way, it might sound wierd but maybe she needs more than one person looking out for. She's been looking for me for a really long time, she's said it herself. Maybe she needs something completely different, me and her can never be together fully anyways." I tell Jackie.

Jackie smiles and puts her hand on my shoulder, "thanks kiddo."

"What you guys talking about," dee suddenly appears.

Jackie and I both jump, Jackie slapping my back in the process. "Just giving Lil Eddie some shit."

"Little!?! You know that's not true, and I told you not to call me that." I say rubbing my back.

Dee chuckles, "alright well I have to get Ed to school, I'll see you and Alex later alright."

"Yeah totally Dee, keep checking in on us alright," Jackie says as she gets up, "later Eddie."
