Vanessa was greeted by curt, professional technicians who were very polite as they had Vanessa strip for the full body quantum scan. Vanessa laid down in the warm gelatinous embrace of the state of the art device and closed her eyes and waited for the technicians to tell her that they were done.

Vanessa fell asleep and dreamt that she was falling.

The "Real" Vanessa Sinclair underwent a psycho-surgical procedure to curb her deviant tendencies and make her more compliant with New World Authority's expectations and norms. It was a painless procedure and Vanessa left the facility feeling grateful, optimistic, and enthusiastic for a new lease on life. She decided then and there that she would be a model citizen. Vanessa Sinclair felt the overwhelming urge to find a man, have his babies, and be the sort of wife or concubine that he deserves.
The "real" Vanessa Sinclair went home and logged onto the NWA government bridal registry and started filling out her profile. She knew it would take awhile.
