The Scandinavian Commune

In today's fast-paced world, Emma and Steven would never have expected their summer vacation to take a turn toward the extraordinary. But that's exactly what happened when the couple stumbled upon an intriguing ad online that promised a unique opportunity to experience the true Swedish lifestyle.

After researching and discussing the concept of commune lifestyle, the couple agreed that it could be a fun and eye-opening experience. Not only did the advertisement promise free lodging, but it also included an opportunity to work in exchange for the opportunity to live in an 'eco friendly' commune. The couple was thrilled to learn of this rare and unusual experience.

As they drove through the lush green fields, the scenery seemed endless. There was an incredible amount of forestry and flora. They passed dozens of different kinds of wildlife on their journey, including wolves, birds, wild horses and reindeer. Even the temperature was warm and welcoming, reaching up to 25 degrees. It didn't take long for the young couple to see signs indicating that they were getting closer to the commune's location, as several animals of a different sort were out sunbathing by the entrance.

As soon as the couple arrived, the commune's beautiful red head leader stepped outside and welcomed them. Her name was Astrid. "I trust that you are Steven and Emma?" said Astrid as she pulled the couple in for a hug. It was a warm welcome that put Steven and Emma at ease immediately. "Yes, that's us. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your commune. We are so grateful." replied Emma. "The pleasure is all mine, the pleasure is all mine. I'm just so glad you two could be a part of our little community. Please come inside." said Astrid, leading the couple to her own private cabin.

"We believe in communal living, a place where everyone can live together and share their resources, ideas, and lives. We believe in the power of collective action and cooperation, rather than competition and isolation. We value respect, honesty, and open communication, and we strive to create a safe and inclusive space for all of our members. We also encourage personal growth and development, and support each other on our individual journeys. We believe in the beauty and importance of nature, and strive to live in harmony with the environment and the world around us" explained Astrid.

As soon as Emma and Steven walked in, they couldn't help but feel amazed at the beauty of the interior. The walls were covered with paintings of nude bodies and nature. The furniture was simple but elegant and made of organic materials. The room had a warm, inviting atmosphere and was filled with a gentle breeze from the open window. The cabin was spacious and open, and the furniture was made of natural wood. There were a variety of plants and flowers decorating the space, as well as an abundance of art on the walls. The kitchen was large and well-equipped with a variety of appliances and cooking tools.

Astrid led them to the table and invited them to sit down for a cup of coffee and some biscuits.

"I'm sure you're curious about what we do here" Astrid began. Emma and Steven nodded, eager to learn more.

"We believe that the best way to live is in harmony with the natural world. We grow our own food, and we try to live as sustainably as possible. We also believe in freedom, and we don't believe in traditional societal rules or expectations" she explained.

Emma felt a bit uneasy at this statement, but Steven seemed intrigued. "What do you mean by freedom" he asked.

Astrid smiled. "For example, nudity is common here. We don't believe that the human body should be hidden away, and we believe that it's important to feel comfortable in one's own skin. We also believe in open relationships and polyamory. Everyone here is free to love who they choose, and we don't judge each other for our choices" she said.

Steven was impressed by Astrid's words, and Emma was too shocked to speak. This wasn't what they had expected when they signed up for this experience. They'd come for a chance to work in hospitality and explore the country, not for an opportunity to explore their sexuality.

"Anyway, enough of that for now. I'll give you a quick tour of our cabins. We have a lot of guests from all around the world, and we love to make them feel at home. You're welcome to join any of the activities that we have here" Astrid continued as they walked through the commune.

The couple was amazed by what they saw. There were cabins of different sizes scattered around the commune, each one unique in its design. There were people lounging around, playing music, and chatting with each other. Some of the people were even completely nude, which made Emma feel uncomfortable.

"We believe in living in the moment and being present" Astrid explained. "We try to live as simply as possible, with a focus on sustainability and self-reliance."

As they walked around, Emma and Steven couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder at the beauty of the commune. The people were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was peaceful and serene. They both felt an immediate connection to the place, and a sense of calm and serenity.

Astrid turned to them with a serious look on her face. "There is one thing you need to be aware of. We are all equal here, and we respect each other's boundaries. If someone doesn't want to participate in something, we don't pressure them. But we do ask that you be open to trying new things and stepping out of your comfort zone. That's the only way to truly experience everything that life has to offer."

Emma and Steven nodded, understanding the importance of respect and boundaries.

"Great" Astrid smiled. "Now let me show you to your cabin."

Astrid took the couple on a tour of the commune, showing them the communal dining hall, the art studio, the vegetable garden, and the outdoor showers. Emma couldn't help but notice the lack of clothing worn by many of the residents, which made her feel self-conscious and out of place. Steven, on the other hand, was fascinated by the openness and freedom of the community.

They finally arrived outside a larger than usual cabin "Home Sweet Home" Astrid smiled as gestured towards the beautiful, unique log cabin nestled at the far corner of the commune under a huge oak tree. The cabin was surrounded by lush, green grass and a vibrant garden of colourful flowers and herbs. The air was filled with the scent of lavender, and Emma and Steven could feel the stress and worries of the world melt away as they breathed in the sweet, earthy smell.

"This is a shared cabin, designed to house 4 couples. You'll notice the open plan nature of the cabin, allowing a more free and communal experience. You will be sharing with only two other couples for now, a lovely older couple who are part of the furniture here, and a younger couple who are still fairly new themselves here." Astrid explained. "Anyway, I'll leave you two lovebirds to go on in and explore, I'll catch up with you both later." she continued before walking off back into the distance.

Standing at the front door to the cabin, bags in hand Steven looked at his girlfriend Emma and said "Are you ready for this?". "Yes, I think so. It's a bit daunting, to be honest. I wasn't expecting the 'nudity' thing. It feels like it will take some getting used to, but I guess that's the point of this trip - to push our boundaries and see what we're capable of. Let's just try to keep an open mind, shall we?" Emma said, feeling a bit apprehensive. "Of course, let's go in" Steven smiled.

As they stepped inside, they were immediately struck by the natural beauty of the place. The cabin was made entirely of wood, and the walls were adorned with paintings of the Swedish landscape. The living area was spacious, with a comfortable sofa and chairs, and a large window that looked out over the forest. A small kitchenette was located in the corner, and a door led to a shared bedroom. The cabin had a warm, cozy feeling that made the couple feel instantly at home.

Emma and Steven looked around in amazement. The living area was furnished with simple but comfortable wooden furniture, and a fire was burning in the fireplace. The walls were decorated with colourful tapestries and paintings of nature scenes. In the shared bedroom, there were four double beds, each with a handmade quilt and fluffy pillows. The bathroom was huge, not disimilar to a public pool, equipped a wall a showers, some composting toilets at the other end and an outdoor style hot tub in the middle that looked like it could fit 4 people comfortably. Emma couldn't help but wonder if she would ever get used to the idea of sharing a bathroom with strangers, especially if they were walking around naked. She wasn't sure how she felt about that yet, but she knew that the experience would certainly be interesting.

"I'm not sure how I feel about sharing a bedroom with strangers" Emma said, feeling a bit awkward. "Like what about when we are getting dressed, or, you know..." she asked. Steven took her hand and squeezed it reassuringly. "I understand how you feel" he replied, trying to put Emma at ease. "But remember, this is an open-minded community. People here are used to seeing each other naked. It's not a big deal. And besides, maybe it will be good for you to push yourself out of your comfort zone a bit. You might find that you actually enjoy it." Emma nodded, still feeling a bit nervous but also intrigued. "I guess you're right. Maybe it will be a fun adventure" she said, smiling at Steven.
