Does she go to orientation right away? How? Or maybe she does a little exploring on her own?
She has a compass that takes her to it.
She closes the window and stands up, patting the front of her skirt.
If she wanted to make even the slimmest progress in this game, she would need to get to orientation. If this was like every other open-world game she's played, orientation was supposed to be a tutorial mission.
"Only question is... where is it? I don't have a map, so am I supposed to ask around or..."
Lost in thought, her peripheral vision brought her to the halo floating above her.
"Huh?"
Nested in the center of the gold ring above her was a matching arrow pointing forward.
Experimentally, she made a scooch right, then left. The arrow adjusted, if only slightly. It pointed its way toward the entrance to the main campus building ahead.
"I have a mission compass!"
